Roboquest is a good time! Flat2VR Studios know what they're doing, resulting in a game that feels like native VR rather than a conversion of a flatscreen game. The game has a lovely cell-shaded sort of colourful artstyle that I think I lot of people will enjoy, and it performed well on my rig (rtx 5060 laptop). Movement feels smooth with slide, double jump, and rail grinding. Even with all of that traversal, I never felt a moment of motion sickness! There's also a wide variety of fun weapons and pickups, and there are multiple classes. I did get the game for free as I'm a playtester and was testing the game, but I think there's a lot here to reccomend for anyone who thinks they might be interested!
not fun, very boring. feels lifeless

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ RoboQuest VR — Chaotic, deep, and endlessly replayable RoboQuest VR nails the thing a lot of VR shooters miss: it's instantly intuitive and easy to pick up, but there's a staggering amount of depth and content underneath. As an action roguelike FPS it leans into fast, chaotic, genuinely challenging gunplay, and the huge variety of weapons all feel distinct and fun to use, so you're always experimenting. The roguelike loop is what kept me hooked. Dying isn't a dead end: you head back to base camp, spend the wrenches you've earned at the workshop, and come back stronger, with different classes to unlock along the way. That steady sense of progression makes every run feel worth it. The soundtrack is a standout too, energetic and perfectly matched to the on-screen chaos. I didn't run into any issues during my playthrough. It ran smoothly and felt polished on Quest 3. Worth every penny. I put in 3.5 hours and feel like I've only scratched the surface, this one will keep you busy for a long time. Easy recommendation for just about any VR player. Disclaimer: I received this product for free for playtesting new future features.
“Definitely one of the top 10 must‑have titles if you love VR. With the arrival of multiplayer, the work done by Flat2VR will stand out even more in the VR space, opening the door to many more hours of replayability and cooperative fun with friends. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to get the most out of their headset.”
what a great game, i am such huge fan of roboquest, while i don't have it on my pc, i have it on my xbox, and it is FUN, if you have not played the non VR version, get that, its only 20$, but if you have, get this game, it is the best VR port ever, unlike games like fallout, that just do the worst they can to make it VR, some examples of it being so great are 1. smooth like butter reloads (i use the manual ones BTW, you should use manual reloads for the best time playing the game) 2. the level design feels tailored to VR. and 3. the gun design, it is perfect, you can even see small details that you could not see before, like how on the dual LMGs, there is a hidden drawing on the back of the left guns magazine that you could not see before. if you want the game, and have played the non VR version, get it, my only problem with the game is the size of the player, it just feels a little off compared to the rest of the world.
Roboquest VR to kwintesencja strzelanek typu roguelite w wirtualnej rzeczywistości. Rozgrywka jest niesamowicie dynamiczna, strzelanie daje ogromną satysfakcję, a wybór broni jest ogromny – każda z nich wyróżnia się i sprawia frajdę w użyciu.
This game is great, but it’s even better with two players! Come work up a sweat in VR in crazy combat battles. Move around easily by sliding, jumping, and sliding. Be curious and discover secret areas. Plenty of special abilities, a huge variety of weapons, and hordes of enemies to crush!
