LOVE IT!
I don't think you can find elegance of design in fighting games quite like in ROBO OH. This game manages to have everything a good fighting game should (varied roster, varied and well-considered universal metered options, a combo game that properly scales in damage and length by starter and resource use, and plenty of ways to create mixups) while limiting itself to two buttons, all while having a novel and very authentic NES/Famicom aesthetic. The Story & Training modes have everything you would want from them as well. The input buffer can be a little awkward at times (at least for how I input things on D-pad), and the lack of native online play is a bummer, but for the price this is the kind of game anybody who plays fighting games locally or enjoys labbing combos and setups should own.

The game just plainly nails the look and feel of 90's famicom fighting games flawlessly. So, we can't be talking about a case of "so retro" here
Fun indie robot fighting game with a classic retro snes aesthetic.
Pretty cool game, reminiscent of old school, very polished and fun.
great game!
As someone with no NES experience or bias, this is a gem of a fighter. The game is visually charming and has a cute variety of fighters to pick from. Honestly, with that price, it is just silly not to try it.
The vibe is spot on. Love the attention to detail in the manual (available in the system menu).
Great game, I've been enjoying it but I will say the secret final boss pretty much killed it for me. three bosses in one fight all very hard to fight, I love fighting games but I am not a crazy pro at them. I tried to battle the final secret bosses for hours and I didn't get anywhere, I had a really hard time even finding the secret characters but having to fight both secret characters with only one bar of health isn't fun for me. I still had fun up until that point though.
Beautiful 2D fighter.
