I think I sat for nearly ten minutes after this had finished, just gobsmacked at how bad it was in every aspect.
Fantastic. For sure would buy more of these. There is room for improvement on the technical side, but that does not take away from the experience. We need to signal to the creators that we like this by buying it and encouraging them to make more of these. I'd love a high quality full length film in VR. Especially with this grade of actor. Its cool stuff and well worth the price.

It's not bad, it's not great. But it's a start. I do hope there will be more of this one day. And hopefully even interactive. Great actors, professional camera recording, but that's the only thing I can say positively about this little experience. I recommend this, because the price is quite reasonable to see Rodriguez up close.
bon exemple d'un film en vr !
Check this out if you like movies and vr. Just it is only 15 minutes But I liked it.

The Limit is a VR movie. It's an interesting story and has great acting. However, the use of a first person camera that keeps shifting around just made me feel sick. The argument from the director is that this is part of the experience - but I'd rather enjoy it than feel sick. Also, everything and all the people seemed huge - like in a cinema - so not truly like a first person perspective. I think this would have worked better as a third person movie (similar to regular 3D movies) and obeying all the rules about avoiding VR sickness.
Let's get something straight... This movie short was NOT made for pugknockers (those who vomit at the slightest provocation). It has fast camera movements, shaky camera, close-in and fast pans. It really makes you feel like you're a character in the movie. I can see why it was filmed in this way. It works very well. I could watch an entire movie in this way. Editing was slick, nice visuals, very immersive. This movie may suffer from hostility from nausea VR users... those who vomit easily. I don't think VR should be limited/crippled by that one segment of VR user as it was two years ago. Let's see more creative filmmaking in VR in this manner. I loved the fast camera moves... I loved the shaky camera moves... I loved the fast pans... I loved the skydiving scene... The future of VR storytelling... Bring me part two.. you can make it just for my viewing pleasure if you want. Bring it on... Hurt me plenty.
Short, at around 15 minutes, but competently written and directed. Above all, entertaining. I would like to see 3d stereoscopic cinema experiences rather than 360 movie though.
