Game with interresting idea, mediocre execution, and terrible gamebraking bug. I was looking for city builder revolving around football and when I find this game, I immidiately bought it. It's simple game with enjoyable gameplay, where you expand your city and upgrade your football facilities. Yet this simple game has unnecessary feature, traffic. At end game I wanted to win the league, win international championship, and win everything, so I was expanding my city rapidly. At some point little cars started to bug. Firstly on junctions, later on random places. Since there is only one way into the city, I wasn't able to expand, because newcomers were bugging, also my population started to deteriorate, since for 30 minutes I was just deleting and building junctions over and over again. Dropped to 4th league, population dropped from 20k to 6k, I started loosing money. All because one, gamebreaking bug. Hence I cannot recommend this game.

MfG
EDIT: So the below "review" reflected my experience at first. After the review the developer responded, quickly fixed the issue and I could play on. The issue is fixed for me and it just show a responsive and dedicated developer. If you like a fun mix of city builder and football, I would buy this title! I hope the developer will continue to develop the title and add some content here and there, some more footy stats could also be fun, not that it should try to rival football manager in that area though! :) Original post: Okay, so I am about two hours into this game. I like it, but there is one thing that is bugging me, no pun intended. The traffic jam bug I like to call it. There is one road leading into the city, I have intersections here and there and a pretty typical grid layout. But what happens, the cars just stay there, not moving. I wouldn't mind if it was just a graphic thing with no implications for my game, but it does have a rather large implication for my game. NO new inhabitants are moving to my city!! I was stuck at 1,354 population for 20 minutes. Then I deleted the road where the cars were "stuck". Guess what, they started driving. But I had to place the road back or otherwise my city was cut off from the world. After that I had to remove the first intersection, it instead became a turn. Now half an hour later the cars stil stop permanently, though now at other intersections. How am I supposed to have a city without intersections?! I hope the developer sees this and fixes the issue.
Came to Road to your City by finding the devs other game Mini Countries. Even though I´m not that much into soccer/football I’m in love with city builders and that´s definitely a building simulation. Haven’t played the game that much so far but it´s up on Steam for almost two years and the overall impression is nice and did not encounter any bugs so far. There is a nice tutorial/quest system which explains everything in detail right from the beginning so it’s very easy to get used to it. You start by building a junction at the map border and your mayor building and try to get people with their kids in your city. You then build up buildings to fulfill peoples needs and that really gets the game going. Having my first training fields so far and everything is up and running and I already got promoted in better leagues or something (not knowing much about football ^^). It’s just fun. I recommend it!
simple and like this
okay it sucks you get 60000$ ON EASY witch is not enough AT ALL because you need to place like 1300 apartments. Also its buggy as heck and PLEASE ADD SOMETHING TO DISABLE THE TUTORIAL JESUS. ADD 1 CREATIVE SO PEOPLE CAN MAKE COOL CITES AND UPLOAD THEM FOR CONTENT OR FOR IDEAS 2 ADD ACTUAL FUN AND 3 MAKE IT NOT A WASTE OF 10$ (also give me my money back)
