20h of losing, I won 1 match. 2vs2 places me in diamond lobbies Orcane is a great example of a terrible gaming experience. I was told that this game was a better version than smash. As a new player that needs to learn this genre i'm being ganged up like in highschool

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Rivals 2 is probably the best platform fighter that's not made by Nintendo out there, maybe even as good as Smash games themselves. The game's really well polished, feels great to play, has great feedback and that perfect power to each hit characters make. The roster is diverse with heavies, floaties, speedsters, and everyone in between, all of who feel great to play. All characters are available for free to every new player and it's pretty easy to find a character that feels good to play to anyone. Every fighter has quite a lot of depth to them, meaning there's always ways to improve and master a character. Also I want to give credit to the devs for making an actually player-friendly live-service game. First off, the game has seasonal events, which are basically battle passes, BUT all of the events are 100% free for every player AND at any point you can switch between any of the previous events, meaning there's absolutely no FOMO involved. Also, the premium currency can be easily earned by leveling up events, or by leveling up the characters by just playing them. I played Rivals 1 before Rivals 2 came out but didn't really get hooked on it, so I put off Rivals 2 until very recently which was a mistake to be honest. The thing that made me finally get Rivals 2 was the announcement of Mina The Hollower coming to this game in 2027 (It's actually bigger than Sora in Smash, trust me). I wish I bought this game sooner, it's actually really really good and you should give it a shot if you even remotely like platform fighters as a genre. The only thing I wish was a liiiiittle better is performance on Steam Deck. It's noticeably dropping some frames in 4 player casual matches when a lot of things happen, and the devs are planning to add 8 player matches in the future, so hopefully they optimize that mode pretty well.
Tbh I don't really like the 3d models, however the gameplay is amazing, I find it very fluid and fun to combo around.
