С играми данного разработчика я уже давно знаком, поэтому как только я заметил по скидке эту игру, сразу решил её приобрести. Ещё в далёком 2018 году я проходил игру "Sweetest Monster" от этого разработчика. Там меня зацепил не только сюжет, но и очень необычный и привлекательный стиль рисовки, который присутствует и в этой игре. Но в отличие от "Монстра", увы, контента 18+ в этой игре нет. Украинского или русского языка в игре также нет, так что заранее готовьте своё базовое знание английского или авто-переводчики. Но зато в игре есть достижения и карточки, благодаря чему можно получить идеальную игру в Steam и повысить уровень профиля. Новелла не особо длинная, но при этом она хоть не душная. Благодаря этому текст интересно читать, и история не надоедает. Я уточню, что это линейная новелла, а значит, выбора в ней не будет. "Rituals in the Dark" - это визуальная новелла с элементами ужаса и романтики. Сюжет разворачивается в дождливом английском приморском городке Скарборо. Шесть месяцев назад пожилая соседка Аспен, миссис Ли, умерла от сердечного приступа. Аспен была последней, кто видел миссис Ли живой, и первой, кто нашёл её тело. Пиппа заставляет Аспен проникнуть в дом миссис Ли, чтобы найти призрак. Под покровом ночи Аспен возвращается в дом миссис Ли, но вместо призраков встречает странную девушку по имени Алтея, которая знает об Аспен больше, чем должна. ebi女主嬷属性偷偷藏不住 女主女二这种类型的cp我挺喜欢的 这部有点像亲吻少女的伤痕 发型一模一样 女主萌弱惨属性加倒贴的吓人 还都是没带爱欲的亲下小嘴没在一起就戛然而止完结了 看得我很难受 又觉得难磕了 萌弱惨倒贴女只能当1呀

不推荐单纯是我接受不了[spoiler]女主和曾经80过自己的人在一起[/spoiler] [spoiler]虽然玩到一半的时候就猜出来奥尔西娅就是夏洛特，一直在暗示奥尔西娅和夏洛特的相同点。明明天降青梅无人可敌，到底为什么一定要设计夏洛特小时候掐女主甚至留疤、用发夹戳女主头皮、偷女主鞋弄哭女主、练习时推倒女主的情节，感觉像吃了屎一样的难受。最讽刺的就是女主被两个朋友80去利太太家，“奥尔西娅”像救世主一样出现说她们不算女主的朋友，一个曾经80女主的人真的有立场说这个话吗。。[/spoiler] 忽略奥尔西娅的身份，游戏本身的cg和bgm质量都挺高的，在利太太家的贴贴都挺甜的，这个价格可以入手当乐子玩玩。如果是更注重感情线发展的百合豚还是慎重入手。

Довольно лёгкая и приятная новелла. Как по артам, так и по остам. Крепкая 8 из 10 Важный нюанс: русификатор на неё есть, но не совместим со стимовской версией. Благодаря этому, у меня появился первый опыт параллельного чтения новеллы на двух языках. Это первая новелла, которую я стараюсь читать на английском и улучшать ужасный до мурашек уровень владения данным языком. Поэтому (возможно) буду к ней возвращаться время от времени по причинам описанным выше!

The mystery is very fun to explore and Aspen and Althea have a very fun dynamic. A very underrated vn by Ebi.

Rituals in the dark is by its own admission far more of a mood piece than it is a plot or character drama, and in that I fully agree. From start to finish this whole visual novel is coated in a beautiful miasma of melancholy. Of the sadness of not just people but places and things and the loss of potential and opportunity as they rot. It's a ghost story, but not in a scary sense at all. Instead in the way where things all carry a story that is lost with the people that cared for them are gone, reduced to a haunting void. Everything and every word said is left with a feeling of having meant or meaning more than the lead can parse, but that meaning's lost now. It's not recoverable and there's an ache there, but also something beautiful in what you can find. None of these ideas are super concretely worked on, like I said its moods and vibes, but I feel like it comes across and definitely had me connecting with the loneliness I felt as a teen. I especially like the focus on cruelty of inconsiderate behavior over overt evil bullying. The MC’s friends are often cruel, usually without intending, as is Althea, as if the lead herself from their perspective without the MC really realizing why. The way her parents love her, but constantly express it in ways that are painful, that hurt and isolation just felt realer to me than a lot of similar teen stories. It's in that, a combination of melancholy, decay, and isolation, that our lead meets the aforementioned Althea, a ghost in her neighbors house. Though we aren’t sure until the end if that ghostly nature is metaphoric or literal till later. The love interests bond, insult, dance, make out, and hurt each other. It's all messy, too fast, but works in a very teen way. That said, the ending's last twist felt… not unforeshadowed, it totally was, but almost poorer in that it makes the story less compelling as the original ending had been to me. Trading a sad and mysterious vibe for more just surprise. I’m torn on it and it is the aspect that makes my recommendation a little more tepid than otherwise. That said its again got Ebi’s great dialogue and excellently realized mood and setting (Always enjoy how specific she gets with her english settings.) and I continue to love getting to read her developer thoughts at the end of the game in the extras, if you’re reading this Ebi-hime, keep doing that I love seeing your dev notes. Thanks for the work!

Rituals in the Dark, while quite a short ride, was very enjoyable from start to finish. The creepy mystery vibe throughout was done perfectly. The artwork and music were phenomenal and really sold the atmosphere well. The writing and characters was also really well done. While the ending felt a little abrupt, I still liked it quite a bit. But maybe, one day, we'll get an epilogue for the story of the two lovers.

不是很长的作品，故事以阁楼上的幽灵女孩为线索开展的故事，整体的剧本相较于其他的作品显得有一些无聊？也可能是这篇不太对我的胃口吧。没有感受到那种神秘的氛围。 游戏的立绘和cg是手绘带着一些复古的感觉，这也是这个游戏最吸引我的地方。游戏的对话框虽然很简单，但是也有非常独特的设计在里面。游戏文字结束后的标志被设计成了蜡烛上面的烛火。烛火的形状是一个漂亮的跳芭蕾舞的小女孩，刚好结合了剧情中象征着灵异的蜡烛和女主一直跳芭蕾舞的元素。游戏中的bgm在一开始有一些摇滚？反正是很激烈，这样的风格和一开始女主酷酷的立绘形象很有不一样的味道。与其他的ebi游戏风格截然不同。不过这些bgm有一些过于吵闹，有点刺耳。我个人觉得与几个小女孩的派对这种氛围不是很搭。音乐给我带来的负面效果一直到在阁楼上遇见神秘女孩才结束，恢复了一如既往的选曲风格，与场景也很相称。虽然这种与神秘女孩相见的剧情与ebi的另一部作品毒爱有异曲同工之处，但这部的情节的氛围不是那种恐怖悬疑的，而是带着一丝暧昧和亲切，虽然也有一点幻想伙伴的味道吧。戏剧性的剧情不是很多，最后的反转很紧凑，幽灵女孩的感觉反而不是那么强烈，不过也有是因为看了测评有被剧透到所以才没那么多感触吧。 这篇故事的内核我不太喜欢，女主角被欺负得次数太多了，还要帮其他人找借口，一开始还会觉得是有情可原，但次数太多之后就会那些内容太歪理了，很诡异的欺负人的理由，感受不到那些角色的魅力和性格的多样性，这些事件对女主来说也没有什么性格或者能力上的成长，就会看起来很奇怪。反转也没有其他的几部作品那样惊艳，反而是让人能够预料到而且这种类似走进科学式的解密严重降低了这部作品的神秘气质。 话虽如此，但这部作品的故事还是很完整的，很多游戏内容也都在前期有铺垫，女主角的心理描写也依然很细腻。女主的服装也会根据剧情的变化产生变化，我很喜欢中间那套红裙子和女主的气质有一种很神秘的反差。尤其是加上前期的黑衣服的对比，前面有一点点丧系和叛逆的形象，中期的红色裙子有一种羞涩和特别的感觉。我也很喜欢对于利太太和阿斯彭相处的描写，这种建立在复杂感情的忘年交，利太太的遗憾让她像对待自己女儿一样对待阿斯彭，而她最后的离去给阿斯彭一个美好又讽刺的“礼物”。可以说这部里的女主角的性格和经历有很多值得挖掘的点，但是很可惜我感觉游戏的侧重点不是这些。 [code] No Responsibility Review，只根据个人喜好进行评测： [url= https://store.steampowered.com/curator/36266776-NRR233] 无责任评测[/url][/code]

这部不是很长，有种淡淡的忧伤，怪诞，梦一般，朦胧又模糊的感觉，玩完心里不是很舒服有些空虚，喜欢里面的cg很好看，音乐也好听，仅为了听音乐我就进去听了几个小时，超级喜欢故事背景，作者写的氛围感很强，在失去挚友后又猛扎进了一段新的友情中甚至恋情，每个夜晚互作彼此的唯一，在死去妇人的房子中驻扎秘密基地，恐怖氛围拿捏的很到位，说不上是最喜欢的百合作但也是在我心目中排前几的了

If you're looking for something witchy, this is not it, there is nothing supernatural and it's weird that it's marketed as such. There is zero ritual as per the game name. There is a circle of candles because a character is dancing in them, that's as close as it gets. Main plot is just the love interest obviously talking rubbish and the protagonist believing her most of the time. She is also her childhood bully(?). This is my second ebi-hime novel (I wouldn't have bought a second after I read the first, I bought them together in a bundle) and I disliked both. They read like bad fanfic, like the author was a teenager rather than the characters (cannot find confirmation online of the author's age so this could be the case). The characters are flat at best and irritating at worst. The love interest is a liar who hangs about in a dead woman's house. "I like to tell stories" was her justification for lying. She was a bully as a child, physical and verbal, and it's brushed off. The protagonist doesn't have any issue with it. It's fine because her parents had a messy divorce!? Weird. Reads like the author was a bully and thinks it's fine because it was justified. There is not a sorry from the antagonist (sorry, love interest) to the protagonist for this. This is meant to be romantic? Absolutely not... This should have been marketed as toxic or not made at all. My only positive is that the author has clearly been to Scarborough. Cones of chips all over the beach and talking about the arcades briefly felt bang on.
