Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 17 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

Starts slow then just gets tedious. I kept playing and realized I was just doing the same thing, solving every problem with the same solution. The interface is also way too complicated for a game that is this mechanically simple. Everything else is wrapped in a nice coat of paint, but the meat just isn't there. If you want an engaging logistics challenge, play something else.
This was released in 2019, the only reason you are reading this 5 or more years later is to judge whether it's worth buying because it's on sale. The short answer is no, it's not. Strip away the graphics, which I quite like, and focus on the underlying fundamentals and you find a fairly unenjoyable game. Not overly intuitive, with micro-managing tasks that are both necessary and tedious and mix that with an overall feeling of you growing your town because you can not because you want to. Shame really, I picked the game up after much hype by streamers, but it just never reached it's potential and, as it is it stands, it is a poor second to something like OpenTTD which is not only free, it was released some 20 years ago.

I dont know man, feels like nothing new since 2021. I also feels the game is still incomplete. Maybe its the game maker studios fault?
I encountered a bug 10 minutes into the tutorial that's preventing me from progressing the game lmfao.
For some reason, the warehouses refuse to send deliveries out. This is despite having enough resources and the shop's request being unsatisfied.
As much as I wanted to like this, my ability to fall in love was hampered by the lack of user controls and analytics tools needed to raise my industry to late game. When I not only have to figure out ratios, but work them out completely out of game because of a lack of clear UX design, the game ticks over from intellectually challenging to simply tedious. (More work than fun.) Also, thank you for advertising/broadcasting announcements for things unrelated to Rise of Industry-- that's always a reminder to check why I'm following a game or developer, and that check on follow status reminded me I had not written a game review. (I find advertisements for games other than the game I'm following to be annoying and in over 95% of all situations, I stop following the game for updates because spamming me with unrelated announcements is, in my opinion, a breach of trust.)
Good: Easy to understand, highly dynamic gameplay is helped by the level of customization you have over a scenario. This allows for very high replay value as you complete new maps and utilize new play styles. Bad: Many bugs, saves corrupt. Player-made maps are fickle and may corrupt themselves, wasting hours of work for no apparent reason. In-game advertisements for the developer's new Cooking game.
Pathing bugs galore
I think people leaving bad reviews due to warehouse / traffic management are being unfair. This game lets you set up to 9 different destinations for each individual node (with research), so there aren't really any problems if you enjoy micromanaging your supply chains.
Meh, I would rather play OpenTTD.
