rimworld is a good game its the most best sandbox kind of game story building do whatever you want it to be its a good game. The DLCs are amazing for the price they give you so much. Modding in this game is amazing. if you get finished with one playthrough you can play again but with different mods that's how good the modding is. The game is so easy to run all you really need is some vram that's really all the game runs so good that my old integrated Graphics ran the game pretty good. So that's pretty much all I have to say it's just I really really good game
i didnt expect this game to be hard, but it is and somehow im surviving despite my the countless deaths of my colonists within the first 24 hrs on a save
Haven't played it in 4 years, but i used to sink countless hours in this gem! Will be updating this review once i try it again now.
Very good game with infinite story possibilities. Every game feels like a unique story. Unfortunately very addicting. After playing this for several years, often for hours on an end, I managed to move on to other games.
10/10
One of the best experiences I've had with a settlement building/simulation sandbox game. When I had first purchased the game I was unsure on how much I would end up liking it, though as I learnt the mechanics and quirks of the game it really grew on me. The storytelling that can be told and imagined through subtle, implied, or even coincidental details really sells it all for me. The game relies on your attention as a reader more-so than a gamer. While you may benefit from meta-gaming through your playthrough, it can easily make the time spent feel more like a chore than worldbuilding. Relationships, social interactions, personalities, and traits make the game so much more interesting with how the pawns interact with one another and how they live their life in your colony. I would recommend this game to anyone who has patience and intrigue with the possible storytelling that they themselves try to insert themselves into, only to be steered off course by the game itself living and breathing alongside you with its many factions. Mods - A very important and suggested option to your playthrough. With the blessing that is the Steam Workshop, there are many, MANY, mods out there for whatever your heart desires out of Rimworld. Things from a more medieval/barbaric/pillaging/primitive focus of progression to Gundams, Warhammer 40,000, Helldivers, and even catboys/girls. There are so many different things out there for everyone, and while some of them may ruin the balance that the game tries to have (i.e. Space Marines), that overpowered feeling may be exactly what those things would do in this universe if they were transferred over. Space Marines raiding a feudal, underdeveloped colony? Canonical to the universe of WH40K as they absolutely annihilate the inhabitants and take whatever is left from their home. A very fun experience with whatever you choose to use and enable. The only gripe with it all being the high cost of performance and tickrate with enough enabled. DLC - Not essential, but also very suggested. The DLC adds new, balanced functionality to the game. With the addition of things like horrors beyond your comprehension, high orbit spacetravel, robots and bugs, and even the psychic powers bestowed upon you by a kingdom. Many, many mods rely on the DLC being present as all of them together essentially give you another game and necessary code that only makes some DLC possible. While I would recommend that you buy the DLC to enjoy the game to it's full potential, it's not necessary to enjoy the game. (There are other ways to have the DLC without buying it if you're unable to ifykyk.) Without a doubt, one of my favorite games of all time.
♥♥♥ ну ну ну ну ♥♥♥ ну вроде норм
Games got serious potential and is fun to play rn, if they expanded on democracy and wars between tribes it would be peak. 100% recommend trying this game out.
