Is difficult to describe what i don't like about this game, like, conceptually i think is good, in execution, i think it has too much RNG for items that are very situational and are basically your character build for the run; for example, if you get a relic that buffs you while in a volcano level, the buff is minimal, and it only works in 1/5 of the levels, so that is terrible. I don't feel any motivation to play to the end, when i know i'm just gonna be seeing the same enemie assets and looting relics and weapons until my life reches 0, which is not a problem for me in games like slay the spire or into the breach, which are .. kinda similar games to this, but those games don't have situational items, they have lot's of options for customization from the start, and the buffs and debuffs are actually very op when you compare them to those in this games which do so little it makes the run to the end feel like a crawl. it feels slow on the gameplay side, and badly optimized for what little graphical quality it shows. i would love to see more games that you can play with like only two buttons and are turnbased, but this doesn't scratch that itch.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Addictive in its simplicity, but I don't know that I can quite round it up to "good." If I had this on my phone and were playing it at a bus stop, its simplicity would be optimal, although I might miss the screen size. Also there is no save or continue, so you play all 50 levels at once or forfeit, which would be bad for a phone game. It's pretty bad for a computer game. Another review says you have to spend hours unlocking the interesting items, etc. that overcome the balance issues of the first few hours in the game. That will be great for people who are interested in playing more than a few hours of the game. As I am reading further, it looks like there may in fact be content unlocked "agonizingly slowly" that fixes some of the issues with the game. So hey, maybe I'll come back to it? But the developers have already moved on, a couple of games down the line with a note that adding save/continue was on the to-do list in 2022. If you get this in an inexpensive bundle, it will probably be worth poking at just to see how the concept works. It almost works, and maybe it starts working if you give it more investment than "almost works" deserves.
As a German I say: It's playable.
Not a fun game.
right down my alley
