Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Sep 1 → 2.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Rift Wizard 3 is a tough as nails traditional roguelike wizard simulator. You play as an immortal amnesiac wizard who must journey through the cosmos to defeat his nemesis. Each run, you'll build a new repertoire of spells and magical artifacts, discovering new and powerful synergies.

Rift Wizard uses an open build system, and allows the player to buy any spell or spell upgrade at any time. This gives the player massive flexibility, allowing them to test out new ideas each run. Try blasting apart your foes with fire and/or lightning, summoning hordes of metallic constructs, or once you're bored of the simple stuff, delve deep into obscure arcane metamagical trickery.

Rift Wizard's unique portal system means the player always has agency over what challenges they face. You choose which levels to visit, where to start, and how to spend your resources. There is no stealth or stair dancing in Rift Wizard: you must face each level head on and obliterate your foes with whatever tools you possess. Rift Wizard eschews randomness and complex combat formulas in favor of puzzle-like simplicity, where every game piece is easily understandable. Every victory is earned, every death deserved.

New to Rift Wizard 3 is a deep and strategic crafting system. You will find a vast assortment of crafting components strewn across the ruins of the universe, which can be combined to form powerful magical artifacts giving passive buffs to the wizard. The player must make difficult choices about how to allocate their limited and diverse magical resources, with rare crafting ingredients even having unique impacts on the crafted item.

The craftable equipment has a wide variety of effects, ranging from stat bonuses to event triggers. Most passive skills and equipment from the previous games have been brought back in some form as craftable equipment, and more than a hundred new items have been added to the game. Make lightning fly out of your arcane damage, commandeer enemy spawners, give your demon summons fire breath, the possibilities are endless!

Rift Wizard 3 adds a slew of new enemies and bosses to the game, from the spry and pushy Leghead to the alien and terrifying Void Child, from old favorites like Slazephan the Serpent Philosopher to new legends like the vengeful nature god Gaia. The final boss encounters, including Mordred himself, have been greatly expanded and revised as well.

The goal of Rift Wizard 3 is to continually place the player in high pressure tactical situations that challenge their creativity and analytic abilities, and to create a strategic sandbox that rewards brilliance, experimentation, and adaptation to constantly changing circumstances. With every installment in the series, we push farther towards this goal, and we are quite happy to share the depth we have created in Rift Wizard 3.

This one may need rebalanced, but I love the series. Mostly played the second game which imo is better than 3 to start on due to the complexity of equipment and the punishing nature of the enemies you face earlier in a run. My simple opinion, but start with 2 and move to 3 once you get the idea of 2. I probably should have started with rift wizard 1 but that was my progression and understanding of the series. Good games though, honestly. Definitely high on my replay list whenever I want to do a roguelike run of one of my games Not much in terms of performance requirements ofc, but I will say it runs flawlessly on everything ive played on (which is, tbh, above average devices overall)
I instantly got hooked. Good spells, good monsters, like the design. Its difficult, but i like that, so its not a negative for me

This game is like a puzzle... And sometimes the puzzle is unsolvable. You should definitely wait for a sale though.
hey i need korean language support! I love this game but i spend many time for searching translation! support me and korean fans enjoy perfect combination without language barricade. good luck you creators!
Great game! I am still a noob at the series, but it's fun learning and seeing that learning in actions when room clears happen almost instantly. Crazy how long you can spend on these games with time flying by. Currently running into an issue, though! I was playing the game during a storm and there was a power surge during one of my runs. Now, the game wont open. I've verified game cache, reinstalled multiple times, still nothing. I will change to a positive review as soon as I can play the game again. Any tips? The Command Prompt flashes for a second and gives the error: _pickle.UnpicklingError: invalid load key, '\x00'. [PYI-1360:ERROR] Failed to execute script 'RiftWizard3' due to unhandled exception! **Fixed!** Thank you for the quick response, developer
Rift Wizard 3 is my first game in this genre, and I haven’t played 1 or 2 before. I saw it on YouTube through Shake the Box, and that prompted me to try out the demo. When the demo was no longer playable, I decided to buy the game. I also think the price is very fair considering how much potential the game has. My first few attempts were difficult because I had no idea how the game worked, and I didn’t get very far. But after several attempts, experimenting with different spells and equipment (yes, it takes time, and you have to read, understand, and experiment!), as well as watching a few YouTube videos about the game, I finally got the hang of it. From there, I was hooked and wanted to master the different challenges. Once you understand how the game works, it goes from feeling impossible to being a challenge that you can overcome in many different ways. The developers are very friendly and active in the community across different platforms (forums, YouTube). They respond to posts and provide feedback. The game is also regularly updated with new content and balance changes. The game is still in Early Access, and I can’t wait for more new content to be added. I especially like the skins you can unlock, and I’m not missing many of them anymore. :) If I ever get enough of Rift Wizard 3, I’ll definitely buy the first and second games as well to support the developers further.
As a fan of the first two, highly recommend. If you haven't, I highly recommend playing each of them in order, for at least a few hours, to get the original experience! The developer's decision to keep refining the same idea as new games instead of updating the first seems controversial in these reviews, but each game is so different beyond the surface that I thoroughly approve of the choice. At first, the smaller board size / art differences were jarring, but after a while I've found it feels weirdly agoraphobic going back to play the first 2; I don't think the added space added tactical complexity most of the time. I like the equipment system a lot; I think the choice complexity is relatively low compared to skills, while adding a lot of depth to it by planning routes for specific equipment or even just components.
The learning curve is rough, but once you figure it out it's a fantastic game
