Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 3 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Arcade racing, kinda like BURNOUT. You get drift boost, and crash invincibility meter when drifting. When meter is max you get the option to boost or become invincible and smash things to unlock shortcuts. Progressiion rewards you with new maps and cars.
this game is like the DmC: Devil May Cry/Bomberman Act Zero of the Ridge Racer series (still bears the series' name but took a dark and edgy turn type and failed miserably). while being a good dumb fun and explosive arcade racing experience, it also is a frustratingly unfinished piece of sh*t. The fictional car designs are actually pretty good (but too few customization options) compared to the likes of Split/Second or Burnout, and their stats do have significant differences in performance (the DLC cars are really great throwbacks to older games but they're GARBAGE); but they all handle like wet noodles (the drifting is trash but also is pretty rewarding if you're used to it, I guess the chase cam didn't do it any justice), one mistake and you're toast with absolutely 0 room to recover, especially on time attack events. The maps are cool and fitting for that kind of edgy/early 2010s MySpace scene vibe but sometimes they get really dark to the point that you might crash into something without being aware (and that also leads to retries after retries since you can't really afford a mistake that significantly slows you down, no matter how many sick moves you pulled earlier). The AI is actually challenging not like most racing games in the same era, but their overall mechanics are dumb AF; if both you and the AI uses the Power gauge, you can't really do much damage on it (the AI would most likely spin you 180 or shunt you off-track) or when you trigger a Frag cutscene, the other AI drivers nearby will have some sort of i-frame so that you can't chain-frag them for the next 0.5 second or so. Moreover, they do not respawn behind or far behind you, they often respawn right in front of your face with their invinciblity still intact and their position still remain (like wtf?) and in some cases one AI driver got wrecked by an another driver and that wreckage launches straight into you (which conveniently slows you down for the time being) yet it respawns right in front of you afterwards. Another thing is the AI in the Frag events goes REALLY SLOW, so if you accidentally Power yourself past them then they'll likely slow down behind you which make this event type the most frustrating of the bunch. Speaking of event types, this game does have diverse events in each district to dominate. We got Domination Race, Shindo Race (which is just DR but with "teams" and without the fragging or commiting collateral damage part, kinda lame), Time Trial, Time Attack (with cops?), Frag (both with the car of your choice and a semi-truck, also with cops??? what do the cops even do to make a living in this hellhole of a city?), and Drift Attack (most of the "drift cars" just won't work anyway). Though some of them might get repetitive at some point, the map structure kind of stays the same on each district with identical targets. Progress is actually fine, albeit pretty short but sweet due to its repetition. Some achievements are hilariously difficult to get and there are online achievements in which you can't get anymore due to the servers being down for over a decade now (hell even RR7 or RR6 lobbies are still lively to this day). City/event creation is pointless. Graphically this game really looks damn amazing for a 7th gen game, decent damage model and perfect 60fps which is also around 2gb in storage (what kinda black magic f*ckery is this?), but the gameplay seriously didn't do this game any justice; and the soundtrack is like the most generic early 2010s MLG/Machinima stuff I've ever heard, to the point that I felt like they didn't even try. It's like when it came to the soundtrack, the dudes at Bugbear decided to just slap in some generic DnB, old RR tracks that's not relatively relevant to this game's setting and 80% of early Skrillex stuff (Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites, really?) and call it a day. Best bet that you ditch this OST and play your own music in the background for a more pleasant racing experience; but if you do like it, that’s fine too. Is it a good arcade racing game? Hell yeah it is (for its price, size and the scarcity of good arcades nowadays), I had serious fun with this. But is it a good Ridge Racer game? F*ck no. It plays nothing like a traditional RR game but more akin to Burnout or Split/Second (shame on you Bugbear for putting all your effort on this and left your Flatout series to some inexperienced mfs so that we could get the atrocious monstrosity called Flatout 3 and a nothing burger which was Flatout 4; glad that you guys pulled yourselves together with Wreckfest). Overall, this is the worst sendoff of a great racing series EVER.
From what I've played so far, I've had a lot of fun! The graphics are good enough for its time, the cars are nice, and the pace of the combat is cool.
BUGBEAR хочу Split/Second Но у нас уже есть Split/Second дома Split/Second дома:
not a bad racing game it's too overhated, it's fun even though it reuses a lot of tracks throughout the campaign or atleast what i played so far of it, i recommend if you like challenging arcade racers with explosions
