Ridge Racer™ Unbounded

Любая гоночная аркада, которая не позволяет переназначить клавиши управления, автоматически заслуживает "не рекомендую".

After spending 6 minutes into the game I could immediately tell that, despite this game holding the Ridge Racer name, it shares very little of what Ridge Racer actually is. Drifting doesn't work the same, driving feels off, there's car demolition which doesn't belong in this series imo. It's a really generic racing game. I feel really let down by this. But I should've known, the reviews already warned me. Glad I got it on sale.

No online but you get a kick out of the races.

Generic, but enjoyable. And not very expensive to begin with, let alone on discount these days. The actual racing is more fun than any of the combat or weird city destruction that they've spent so much time on. Rather like the contemporary Need For Speed games in that respect. EDIT: that said, Upper Westside final race "Dominator" is a beautifully put together track where, for me, they chose the right elements to make it the most fun challenge so far in 10+ hours of play. I think there are a couple of reasons, beyond familiarity with the game and the tracks at that point. And actually it's because there they throw in some new elements - just to give you a bit of a buzz at the right (wrong) moments. So you think, oh this city run again. But it's actually where, for me, I've finally clicked in to what they were really going for with this title. If you're three starring everything up to that point, you should have the Ford Mustang style car, which is real balls to the wall to three star that Dominator track

Топ игра, прикольная физика, крушишь соперников и всё вокруг, даже здания и кирпичные стены, столбы. Вайбы у неё Split Second: Velocity. Аж приятно на душе

Ridge Racer™ but it's FlatOut 2

From what I've played so far, I've had a lot of fun! The graphics are good enough for its time, the cars are nice, and the pace of the combat is cool.
