A bit of a backstory here: I covered this game on the YouTube channel and really enjoyed what was here in the demo alone. After a couple of months; I was noticed by the developers and were given a chance to really cover their game https://youtu.be/ZtkytXAQcBY This is a fun 4 player co-op roguelite game where you take on ghost trains of various stats and abilities. And boy do the devs want you to feel how insane things can get as you get deeper into the runs. The classes work well with a game like this and their upgrades are just as valuable. So definitely think on what works and doesn't work in this case. You can play this game on solo, public, or invite only You can name the train You can play this with a controller that works very nicely And finally there is UI scaling and the promise of arachnophobia mode from the devs For the price and sale price alone. I really recommend this game!
Really fun game! My friends and I really enjoyed mastering the mechanics and the chaos of our choices. Love the theming and the fact that the decisions you make cascade and combine in ways that are powerful: both in your favor, and in ways that blew up in our faces. Discovering the synergies has been the best part of playing so far - there's something delicious about coming out on top even when everything seems to be going wrong.
What a great game! I'm only partway in but have been enjoying it very much...the graphics & music set the tone well and the gameplay is easy to learn & fun. Super intrigued to see where the story goes!!
Very fun simple game I would like a few more things to do in it but otherwise a great game well worth the price
A fun little game. Its concept is unique and the gameplay is easy to get the hang of. The variators of each run keeps things fresh with every playthrough. A bit of polish wouldn't hurt, but I had a great time. I look forward to seeing what will be added in the future.
In the 10 hours that I have played this game, I have freaked out over the most simple but overwhelming events and at the same time I have been having a blast. Granted it is a little clunky, but after some learning you can look past it. Have not been able to figure out the secret ending (yet), but from what I have played, it seems like I will need to just get good.
Love this game; I highly recommend it for co-op. It's quite unique and fun to play. I would advise playing the turotiral to get an understanding of how to play as it's a little complicated if you haven't. The game scales from 1 to 4 players and as you advance you really get to experince a tumultuous and chaotic gameplay to capture ghosts!
totally a breath of fresh air, had a blast streaming this with a buddy and the gameplay loop is super satisfying , i love supporting small indie studios, and this game was an instant favorite, great graphics, give it a cozy feel , while all hell is breaking loose lol don't hesitate to grab a couple copies and hit the rials with your friends you wont regret it!
I like trains
So instead of just giving a boilerplate review, let me tell you a story: Me and my buds were cruisin' along some ghost tracks in a spooky train fighting some other spooky train, cleaning up spirit goo with our bonafide ectoplasm rifles so we could properly power up some hell machine to kill some other spooky train before it could kill us. In doing so, we invited some evil spectre on board, who then proceeded to steal all of our stuff and just mischievously place it in random areas of the train. We then rolled some modifier where we couldn't see which items were what, meaning the welding tool we desperately needed to seal up cracks in the hull was just showing up as a question mark in a sea of other question marks. As I tried to sift through to find the welding tool we needed to stay alive, one of my friends got sealed in some demonic bone cage and then got split apart by space lazers while the other one was too busy watering watermelons to notice or care... I guess my point is: we didn't win that run, but we had a rad time. 10/10 would play again.
