Reviews
Reverse Crawl is a really fun little tactical RPG with a fun story and gameplay. I enjoyed controlling the monsters, managing my minions, and using different abilities in the turn-based battles. The story is pretty entertaining too, with choices that can change what happens. My only real complaint is the achievements tied to story choices. There are 3 different choices you need to make, but there’s no easy save/load system to go back and try them, so you can’t get 100% in a single run. Still, I had a good time with it overall. Recommended. 7.5/10.
I started playing this a few years ago, and I am not sure why I quit before the end--I probably got busy with work. I came back, started over, and finished it in just under 8 hours. It was a good short game. The game play is relaxing and enjoyable., the art work is suitable, the characters are entertaining--I was cheering for them, and the story was nothing special and yet good enough that I wanted to complete it. The price is reasonable and there are various choices that both change the progress and the outcome of the game. Furthermore, there is an endless more, although I have not tried it yet. So, if you are interested in a casual, turn-based, fantasy RPG with moderate replayability at a good price, this is your game!
