I hated this game in the begining because it was too hard for me and surprisingly it would run like trash, crashed my pc often. I decided it was too hard and would only play it co-op with a friend. When we found the time we would try do a stage and I dumbed my pc down from ulta to medium with some elements on high. After 3 biodomes I became really invested in the story and the game. I finshed the game with my friend. He didnt want to grind for the true ending so I played it solo and found the game to be alot easier. The reason being is the resources are shared when playing co-op and you dont get hit by enemy bullets or rings that are after your friend because in solo, everything happens infront of you. After the 3rd biodome, you unlock an endless tower that follows the conventional roguelike rules (i.e Do a floor, get a reward. Rinse And Repeat till you get a boss at floor 20. Fight the boss. Get a permenant reward and carry on). I found that to be alot more enjoyable as that stages are quick and straight forward. After completing the true ending I started to grind for 100% completion. The problem is, certain glyphs are found in specific rooms and because the map is randomly generated, you might never see that room spawn. There are 277 randomized rooms and even though I have defeated all the bosses solo 11 times now and did the tower over 20 times I still havent seen 11 rooms because they won't spawn. So in short; Run the game on medium or high if you are having problems. Use a friend to get past the first 3 bosses and unlock the towermode. Then play it on your own. The gameplay is quick, fun and chaotic. The story is short and sweet. As everything is a metaphor for whats actually going on, the ending leaves answers open to interpretation. Graphics and sound good when not on ultra. As a whole 7/10 and a must play.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 28: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Challenging, but incredibly fun and rewarding when a run is working.
its binding of issac in 3d, it's proper good
Was solltet ihr mitbringen? Wie Muhammad Ali bereits sagte: "Schwebe wie ein Schmetterling, stich wie eine Biene"
Great roguelite. Grind isn't too long, I think it's just about in the right spot. Challenging, but not impossible. Story that explains why the game is a roguelite is clever and goes farther than you think it will. If it weren't for the annoying black screen glitch, the game would be pretty well polished for a console port, too. Sad that that bug survived the port, though. If you get a black screen after a screen transition and can hear yourself walk and shoot but can't see, run around until you fall in a pit. Respawn will fix it. If you know there's no hole, just ALT+F4 the game.
Returnal is a great game. It can be challenging but it is extremely fun. Great graphics, gameplay is butter smooth and the audio is top notch. Highly recommend Returnal if you are looking for a challenging and very fun game.
Game kinda runs like poop a little, but once you figure settings out, the gameplays a lot of fun. Not as hard as everyone seems to say it is.
