Hope u like dying and start over....Love it!
LOVE the game; Even if the main protagonist reminds me of Hilary Clinton in space battling her inner demons. Easily one of the most unique, fun, shooters I have ever played. I bought this on PS5 and loved it so much I decided to replay it on PC. The visuals and scale in this game are amazing, while feeling even more complete with HDR and OLED. As far as difficulty, there's a noticeable learning curb, but it isn't the hardest game. It will require you to be comfortable at dying from time to time. My best advice 1. learn to shoot and kite 2. go through the side rooms (blue doors) so you can scavenge and build your stats before a boss 3. dash side ways is a must.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 28: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Good stuff
.
Amazing gameplay. gAME is fUN.
I can honestly give this game a solid 9.5/10. The gameplay is exquisite. A roguelike bullet-hell third-person shooter is quite a niche concept to pull off, but Returnal does it exceptionally well. Visually, and in terms of sound design, the game is top-notch. I'm a huge fan of sci-fi atmospheres, especially those inspired by Brutalism and artists like H. R. Giger. The pure vibe of this game constantly keeps your mind racing with thoughts and interpretations on every level. My only real criticism is the lore/story. It's intentionally distorted into an unsolved puzzle, with countless hints and details planted throughout the game like seeds, but there are never any true answers. That personally bothers me. There's almost no point in trying to fully understand Returnal's story, and because of that, I struggled to feel empathy for its protagonist, Selene. In most other games, this issue alone would lower my score to around a 6/10. But because everything else works SO well in Returnal, my honest final score is still a 9.5/10. I really enjoyed the skill-based learning curve of this game. It's rough at the start, but eventually your brain just "clicks," and suddenly you're flying through encounters, slashing everything apart like a demi-god.
Recommended if you can get the game on sale. Very fun for doing the main story content of the game, only took me about 15 hours so I dont think it's worth the full price. The per run randomness is pretty mild and mostly comes down to what weapons you're currently using, with other modifiers being mostly stats up or down
Game was amazingly fun and not too difficult if you're good at movement and aim. beat it around 15 hours with M&K. i played it on PS5 with controller and had way more fun with M&K. Didn't have any issues with gameplay or stuttering. Averaged around 130-190 fps on high settings on 1080p depending on the biome i was in. The people giving bad reviews for the difficulty must have a skill issue which is fine, just don't buy the game if you know you aren't good at skillful games. The first warning it gives you when you open the game is that its difficult.
