Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 18.71/day in the week to Aug 7 → 26.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's alright. Nothing too special, but no major flaws either. If you play the demo you'll experience 90% of what the game has to offer. The only thing that the game offers that others in this genre don't are employee stats that govern what they are best at along with perks to determine if they take breaks/fall asleep on the job/call out sick etc. I would only recommend this game if you can get it on sale, otherwise the other options for this genre offer more value in most respects.
I’m over 50 so I understand the appeal of a video store simulator. But there’s no game here. You just do chores with no consequence. Customers will wait hours to check out. Arrange your videos with no rhyme or reason, nobody cares. Customers just hammer your store no matter what, and there are no management settings to make. You can somewhat decorate a video store, That’s the hook. Also, lots of a little AI tells. Can’t be sure, but it’s got an AI vibe, Don’t understand the overwhelmingly positive rating on this one at all.

Very nostalgic! Provided a good amount of gameplay. Looking forward to future content.
Good game. I hope in the future they put in support for controllers.
Very fun management game. It feels similar to the flipline games (papas freezeria, burgeria, etc...) in the sense that you just hop on it to play a couple days, take some orders and chill. Im not too far in so I still have most of the store locked and have yet to get all the genres. There isn't any real pressure as the customers will wait forever for you to do what you have to do and that's a little lame. Overall the game is fun, but I feel like there's no real "threat" that you have to deal with.

Retro rewind is literally such a refreshing game! It gives me little fuzzy nostalgic feelings. I love decorating and remodeling my store, buying expansions to grow, ordering movies and stocking the shelves. Rewinding the returns... It really is such a fun game, something that you can get stuck in for hours.
ta bueno :D
Finally a chill simulator that isn't unforgiving! I love the fact that you can take your time, even though there is plenty to do within the store being open. Its awesome that time is frozen at the start and end to the day, makes tying up loose ends in the store much easier.
Mega des Cosy verkaufsspiel. Ist ein guter Zeitfresser und macht echt mega spaß. Perfekt um einen Tag mit Kater zu überstehen :)
