Brutal juego retro que homenajea a los plataformeros de antaño, cargado de una buena dosis de humor geek actual. Controlaremos a diversos personajes únicos y nos embarcaremos en una odisea retadora, lleno de enemigos y jefes desafiantes. ¿Podremos salir de este mundo virtual con vida? Un juego que vale bastante la pena comprar y disfrutar. La música es 100/10. Corto pero intenso, lo recomiendo mucho. There is problem in the game. I think the game is not complete. Very bad support. I sent email to developer and i sent message in his profile about one year and no reply. also I asked him in the discussion but never answer.

Divertidisimo, si te gustan los plataformeros estilo retro, juégalo, corto pero divertido, personajes simpatiquisimos cada uno con su propia jugabilidad que una vez que consigas a todos podrás cambiarlos a tu gusto siendo algunos mas capaces de superar ciertas zonas dependiendo de sus habilidades, con dificultad justa salvo ciertas zonas complicadas pero por lo general una dificultad ni facil ni dicifil para todos los jugadores.

Retro Revengers is, as the name implies, an intentional throwback in terms of graphics, sound, and (some) gameplay sensibilities. It is an action platformer with a cast of characters (old man Ossan, dragon Mao, weird kid Taicho, even weirder man-child Matchan, and cat Notchi) that have varied jumping and attacking mechanics. After playing through the main cast's levels once, you can switch between characters to tackle different obstacles or preserve health (as each character has a separate health bar). For comparison, you might think of something like Fallen Leaf or MegaMan X8. As far as the presentation goes, I like the goofy, cartoony style of the characters and bosses. While I am not a fan of the specific characters individually, as a ragtag group of weirdos, they fit the silly, comedic tone of the game to a t. The music is good, particularly for the boss encounters. The comedy in the writing is good, though the meta humor and letter substitution for real game names (such as "Elden Thing" for "Elden Ring") can get a little grating. For gameplay, I feel like the game can take a little getting used to. The jumping feels a touch too stiff, and you can really feel it when playing as certain characters (I personally found it most noticeable with Ossan and Taicho). However, once I got the hang of the game, it was fun to experiment with characters to find personal favorite ways to navigate levels and bosses. Personally, I think Notchi is the most fun to play as in levels because his charged attack works like a really high double jump, and Ossan has charged moves that can make easy work of many bosses, including the final one. One last thing to note about this game is that, despite invoking retro themes a lot, the game has a very generous Continue system when compared to the older games that it invokes (though losing all of your lives does force you to restart the level you died on). I try not to measure the quality of a game by the number of hours it can bloat to. But the game [i]is[/i] pretty short, even when it pulls a Ghosts-and-Goblins-esque reference/trick midway through. Still, there are hidden characters, hidden items, and a speedrun mode, so there is some replayability after beating the main game. Overall, while it can feel like retraux throwbacks are a dime a dozen on Steam, I think Retro Revengers is just funny and challenging enough to give it a shot if you are a fan of the genre.

Tedioso,aburrido y muuuy lento. y por si fuera poco tiene esa "mecanica" del Ghosts 'n Goblins para alargar la historia innecesariamente ,ni en oferta lo vale

Al juego, no nos engañemos, le falta pulido. Pero me he reido de principio a fin. Si conectas con el humor es pura diversión. Cosa que muchos GOTYs o "GOTAs" (buen giro al final) no consiguen. Necesitamos juegos que aporten esta frescura en la industria. El rollito doujinshi, un homebrew que no se limite a imitar, el espiritu de proyectos pequeños en los que el "hago lo que me sale del "minabo"" sea la ley.
