Retention

Not really a game in any sense of the word, more of a slideshow. You're presented a group of three images for each year a man was alive. There isn't a story or anything at all being told by the images, they're just random memories with very short captions. Once you've picked an image from each set, you get one of eight endings. The concept could've been interesting but the execution is just vague and uninteresting. Going through an album to "tell a man by his memories" had a real opportunity to tell an interesting story through pictures. For example, perhaps your choices affect which sets of photos are shown to you in the future. Retention chose to only include a story in the Steam store description.

Retention has a unique gameplay concept. Basically, you need to choose one of 3 images on 85 image sets, which may or may not represent the actual memory of a certain person. But I feel I just random somewhat random images where I don't feel continuance/relevance between each image set. The UI also confused me, but I understand how it works after reading other reviews. I don't recommend this game, even if you're looking for something unique or different.

Man versteht gar nichts, es wird nichts erklärt und das Spielprinzip ist langweilig. Kauft es einfach nicht. Ich werde es 2h im Hintergrund laufen lassen um einen Steam-Profil-Hintergrund zu bekommen .-. not worth 1€

Lost my memories and now I gotta remember.... Overall, for being short, I did enjoy looking trying to recollect memories by looking at photos and whichever photo will pick will change the outcome of your view. The photos were interesting and the OST matched well the game This is not a game for everyone but I did enjoy my time with this

(Эмо стих) а теперь иди и извиняйся перед ними очень виноват как посмел от них ты отличаться и законы их не выполнять? как посмел любить другое что-то и не мыслить так же, как они? вместо их застывшего болота капельку безумия найти посвятить себя какой-то цели - ты их этим сильно удивил умоляй прощенья на коленях что себя особым возомнил как посмел не интересоваться тем, что кажется им самым основным? как посмел цвести и разрушаться если все живут по правилам одним ты всегда был не таким как стадо ты сумел их этим оскорбить ожидать спасения не надо все они хотят тебя убить превратить в такого же, как масса этих правильных бессмысленных людей поломать и разорвать на части навязать их ценности тебе а теперь иди проси прощенья за все то, в чем ты прекрасней их за способность видеть свет и тени в мире масок серых и пустых
