Today I received the following message on Steam: "Account Alert for [redacted] - 1 Jul, 2024 A Steam Product code you activated has been removed from your account. 7 Jun, 2018 Restaurant Manager Your recent Product code activation has been revoked due to a refund for this item. The games associated with this product code can no longer be played as a result. The content associated with this product can no longer be used as a result. Please contact the seller you acquired the Product code from for assistance. If you would like to purchase the item, please visit the Steam Store. Otherwise you may choose to delete the local content associated with these games." The developer of this game, Alfa Dynasty, has chosen to revoke everybody's keys for no apparent reason, but it seems likely that they're doing this to get customers to rebuy the game during the Steam Summer Sale. This is a horrible practice which sets an awful precedent. They probably did this knowing that many customers won't have playtime on this game, leaving them unable to leave a review describing the theft. I've taken one for the team by rebuying the game so I can leave this report on the developer's dirty tactics. Hopefully I can refund the purchase immediately afterwards. There was no refund for the revoked game as it was purchased from a defunct keysite, something else that the developer probably kept in mind when they made the decision to steal from customers. It leaves us with absolutely no way to get our money back. Valve should either reinstate this trash game to people's accounts or reimburse us themselves. It may be a game of questionable value, but it's the principle that's important here. We certainly don't want other indie developers to follow suit and remove games that we paid for from our accounts. The developer is a crook. Avoid their releases completely.

Have you ever had something stolen from you by the developers and you just don't really care because what they took was something worthless and terrible? That's what happened here. The dev of this game decided to pull all of the Steam keys they had out there for this game. It doesn't really matter though because this is barely a game and has absolutely no value. Don't get tricked into buying this game and avoid everything that has ever touched it. Complete garbage game from a complete garbage company.
A Steam Product code you activated has been removed from your account. May, 2019: "Restaurant Manager". I wonder what is on the dev's mind that he decided to remove licenses from everyone on the game he released in 2018. The game itself is worse than most default unity free templates. Dev probably did not hear about Steam return policy or dreaming to beat "The Day Before" in terms of most negative reviews on the game this century with his placeholder game (that even though looks like poo-poo still most likely using stolen assets.
The concept: Start a restaurant chain, pay back the bank for your original loan, and take over the world! (or at least the town) Execution: Less involved than an idle clicker. This game has you buying burgers in bulk and waiting to sell them, so that you can buy more, so that you can buy ad space to make more money to buy more burgers to buy higher levels of ad space, so you can buy more burgers.... That's the basic concept of a lot of restaurant managing games, and they do it well, because there's things to do. This game is literally just waiting for enough burgers to sell so you can buy more burgers. There's no fast forward, no side objectives, no story, no decorating, nothing. Developers say it's in early alpha, which basically translates to they want you to pay for their high school project. It looks okay enough, and the one audio track isn't horrible, but does get repetetive after one or two minutes, but there's no substance to this game in any way. It feels broken. You can open all of the menu buttons at once, and they'll stack over each other in an indecipherable lazily coded jumble. It's impossible to lose this game, as there is no way to spend your money in a bad way. The bank you're supposed to pay back doesn't even want regular payments, let alone interest. There's a couple of restaurants that are to act as your competition, but they don't actively grow, so their grasp on the market share has no actual impact on your success. You just sell burgers and buy more burgers and then win. That's it. Don't buy this game. Don't support developers releasing broken, unfinished games. Early access is one thing, but this is like reviewing a student's assignment game. Liked this review? TL;DR: scammer dev steals games that customers bought years ago, Steam helps him On July 1st, hundreds of users received an account alert, stating that "A Steam Product code you activated has been removed from your account" with the reason being: "Your recent Product code activation has been revoked due to a refund for this item." (2018 is considered recent in 2024?) The "game" was bought and activated back in 2018 (it was sold by the dev on three different bundles). Of course, the reason of removal is bull-poo, and Steam knows it very well. Many people, myself included, opened support tickets about this issue, but everyone received the same generic answer: "Hello, let me check this for you. The CD Key for this game has been revoked by the game publisher. This can happen when a batch of keys are stolen, or perhaps the key was for a beta game that has shipped and you'll need to purchase it." But that was not the stated reason for the product removal!!! The reason was a "refund". And it's not entirely the "dev"'s fault. Everyone knows that Steam is full of scammers. The real problem is that Steam itself encourages and helps these scammers, by revoking keys years after they have been sold. It's not normal for the devs to be able to do whatever they want, whenever they want, with the keys generated for their games (for free, no Steam fees). They can sell them as many times as they want, then revoke them and sell them again. The keys should be irrevocable after 1 year. If they "got stolen" from the dev - it means the dev should have been more cautious with handling those keys. In this case (keys bought in 2018) users have literally zero chances of contacting the seller. So, Steam, please review your policies regarding steam keys. You always say "Please contact the seller you acquired the Product code from for assistance" - at least give us the possibility to do that - one year is more or less reasonable, but longer than that the chances of contacting the seller are close to zero in many cases. In this case I see the "dev" as a scammer, stealing a product from the customers that bought it, and Steam as an accomplice - blindly removing the product from the users' libraries without at least pretending that they have analyzed the situation (it does not matter if it's a $60 or $0.60 game - it's the fact that at any time someone could remove games from your library just like that). I purchased the game for the second time to write this review, and won't refund it (for gamecount purposes); Steam should be proud of the 30% fee they got from me (that's 20 cents, considering the discount).
«Restaurant Manager»
Scumbag dev sold his heys in 2018, got his money, then, in 2024 decides to revoke his keys. And it's not even a fun game. Scammer dev gets help from Steam
I don't think this can be called a game. You can't do anything in it. Bad game. Do not buy!!!
