About
What is Responding?
Responding is an upcoming open-world Emergency Services simulator sandbox that offers a realistic and in-depth Police, Fire, and EMS experience that is set in a fictional version of New York State.
In the world of Responding, you, as the player, have complete freedom to engage in pursuits, traffic stops, shootouts, 4th alarm box fires, and much more. Work together with friends or intelligent AI to keep the city and upstate suburbs safe and peaceful.
Features
Scene management plays a big role with any incident, and it's not just up to you to manage the scene, AI will take on any roles to resolve the situation, keep the scene safe or to collect evidence and witnesses statements.
Besides regular traffic stops and wellness checks Responding offers unprecedented action within emergency services simulators, with mechanics seen in your favourite tactical shooters such as tactical reloads, holding your breath, ammo management and much more.
We like customization and we know you do, we desire to bring this to various aspects of Responding, beginning with the vehicles. From the equipment you store in your trunks to the placement of antennas on the roof. And it doesn't stop there!
Seamlessly pull over any vehicle that you've seen breaking the law, or even when none is broken at all. Question the driver for his behavior and decide if the driver deserves a ticket, warning or a pass, but do not be surprised if the vehicle or the driver suddenly attempt to evade you and the law.
Bringing the most in depth and realistic emergency lighting system, with customization that allows you to create unique lighting patterns by setting the on and off time for each lighting module. And it doesn't stop there, create 3 presets to switch between in real-time and set the desired text to display on your message board!
Become part of our active community on discord, this is the place to discuss the future of Responding and to voice your opinion on the desires for the ultimate emergency simulator!

Do not waste your time. Played for 20 mins just for it to crash every 5 mins
Unplayable, overpriced, and poorly optimised. Even for an Early Access title, the lack of development progress over the last few months is disappointing. It currently feels like a laggy, buggy sandbox built on flipped or generic store asset packs. Don't bother buying this game.

Has lots of potential, but is a buggy half baked mess that dose not live up to the hype in its current form. Also has no EMS or FD coming anytime soon. Sticking to Police Simulator: Patrol Officers, Firefighter Simulator: Ignite, and Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator for now.
This game is a failure and needs a lot of work and updates.
I do not recommend this game- YET. While it will be a brilliant game, they have made the mistake of releasing it before it is ready. A lot of people have been pointing the blame finger at the devs, however it is a bit more nuanced than that. They were under some pressure to release it, and now people are upset that they released it too early. I think we should cut them some slack, although, they priced it way too high knowing it was not ready. It will be a great game, I can assure you of that, but much work needs to be done.
very fun, needs work on bugs especially the AI cops blocking traffic
Very buggy. Game crashes, the file system does not connect anything or remember recent searches. Writing incidents or clearing them is broken. Once you assign yourself to an incident, clearing yourself is hopeless. The game has a LOT of potential but its a far cry from being ready to be considered playable. Even assigning yourself a unit number on the car is bugged. Just wait to buy this. Not worth spending any money on at this time. I hope this game takes off, it has a lot to offer. But it needs a complete overhaul to get all the stuff they implemented to communicate correctly.
im not sure if i would buy this game or for others to they never updated to let us be ems the game play rn is real ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and they really dont update much since the pre release this is the worst money spent
So the game has some HUGE potential. but they have a hell of a lot of work to do before it (yes i only played 20 minutes.. 1. there are way to many bugs, please fix them. 2. So Tutorial whatsoever.. figure it out. 3. When I go to a call, please make my map highlight the shortest route, and if I need to use light and siren and stuff like that.. 4. bugs. for example (I went to a call. turned out to be a shoot out, I shot the guy together with my coworkers (who took about 5 min real time to arrive) and then I wanted to secure the area but I wasnt able to put my gun in my holster.. cause it was allready there, and it was in my hand aswell) 5. Please make the traffic react to the light and siren.. 6. half of the function do not work on the car (or I didnt figure it out since there is no toturial) Please work in the game to make it better and fun! dont abandon it like Police Simulator patrol officers
Needs a lot of work. Probably cheaper now but your not gonna get a full game cause it's in early access. Most of the time there will be a bug but I have high hopes for this game and it's future and it would also be nice if they had an option in the settings to removing swearing
