RESPITE 2.0

I don't write reviews, but I felt the need to for this game as I really enjoyed it and, at the time of writing, it has no reviews. RESPITE 2.0 isn't exactly a game. It is, as described, a "relaxation program". You'll navigate many locales, all of which are visually striking. I think that the presentation of this game is absolutely fantastic, and if you're a fan of the vaporwave aesthetic or digital/glitch art then I'm certain that you'll enjoy the visuals. These visuals are accompanied by a perfect soundtrack, soaking each locale in atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed cruising through each and every locale and it's genuinely relaxing to get lost in it all and just see where you'll wind up next. There's this eerie feeling that there's something lurking beneath it all, but it's easy to quell these feelings and continue on your path. Try not to stray too far though! Honestly, it's great. Try it out!

One of the most interesting game concepts I have played for quite the while. Deserves a LOT more attention.

RESPITE 2.0 is an interesting little game, although calling it that is a stretch. So, you start the game, and slowly cruise through the scenery that's mostly it. The music is quite nice; visuals too. It's enjoyable to explore and see where you end up. If the aesthetic appeals to you then I'd say go for it. It's very cheap and you'll get plenty of mileage before you reach 2 hours in case you change your mind.

This game is nice. This game has a bunch of areas to look at which all have a beautiful aesthetic with very relaxing music to accompany it. Really recommend this game

For 2 bucks your getting a smooth, relaxing album and some unique old PC style visuals, if you've played Knight's Try (Modus Interactive's other game) then this is the relaxation period after a brutal challenge.
