About

Set 15 years before A Plague Tale: Requiem, play as Sophia, a fierce young plunderer, on the run but determined to uncover the secrets of her past. Dive into an original story blending combat, myth and fate with a brand new take in the universe of A Plague Tale.
Sophia’s journey leads to the Minotaur' Island, where she faces deadly trials, navigates treacherous trails, solves puzzles, all while fighting and staying one step ahead of the army chasing her. But the true challenge awaits, as the terrifying creature hidden behind the myth will soon resonate with her…

Sophia is a skilled, agile, and strong-willed fighter who engages in dynamic and violent melee combat. Followed by many enemies, each drawn to the Island to reclaim a mysterious treasure, you must navigate a treacherous maze. Rely on your agility, tricks and sharp reflexes to outsmart enemies, perfect your parries, and unleash powerful strikes to survive deadly encounters.

Shift between the Middle Age of Sophia and ancient Minoan times, where echoes of the past shape the battles of the present. Unfold a new story in the universe of A Plague Tale, through the entwined destinies of two heroes linked by fate and the Macula’s mysterious legacy.

Guided by the knowledge safeguarded in your notebook, follow in your crew’s footsteps to explore a richly detailed world, unravel its secrets, and face deadly trials. Use a stolen Minoan sphere to solve ingenious puzzles by manipulating light - a force woven by Daedalus into the island’s very heart.

It is said that only a few came back from the island. Lurking in the shadows lives a restless presence. It follows you around, seemingly knowing your every move, as it hunts through the island’s depths.
Every step is a risk. Every pause, a potential end. You can’t stop, only hide, outsmart, and push forward. Can you survive each trial and every step or will you join those who never came back?

Reviews
very good
Overall a good game that does not quite live up to the last two "A Plague Tale" games. The gameplay and graphics are a significant improvement from the prior two games, however the story suffers from pacing issues and the game needed to be at least 50% longer for me to care about the characters in the way it wanted me to.

I was nervous that this game wouldn't live up to the previous two. I was happily proven wrong, this game is amazing and Asobo made another banger story. I hope they continue to make games set in this universe!
The game is literally an imperfect masterpiece. It exceeded my expectations—from the story, which is one of the best I’ve ever experienced, to the fantastic gameplay. However, the combat mechanics were poor, though still passable. Visually, the game is stunning As I said, it is an imperfect masterpiece; I rate it 8/10 solely because the combat needs work. The puzzles were neither too easy nor too hard—just right. I have not played the other two installments yet and I’m very excited to try them.
10/10 Game, amazing story, gameplay and music one of my favourite games ive played in a long time
Desde el primer momento el juego impresiona con su calidad grafica, su historia y sus mecánicas, hay una buena curva de aprendizaje, es un gran juego y vale cada centavo, sabe jugar con los sentimientos de sus usuarios enganchando
Beautiful scenery, detailed graphics and great gameplay! A great game to add to your collection!
Beautiful, great story, I was a little hesitant as this was a new story to the series but ended up being great!
I have played the first two A Plague Tale games MULTIPLE TIMES and LOVE THEM. Hands down they are in my top 10 games. Resonance is being added to my top 10 now, it is THAT good to me. The story line always impresses me - constant twists and turns, keeps you asking questions, wanting to learn more, and THRILLING! This game is no different. Were some things predictable? Yes. I am also a neuro-divergent who sees patterns that sometimes is missed by others - but it didn't hinder my gameplay. I love that there is so many different swords and trinkets to find and that they carry different perks. The puzzles can be difficult, which I love! (only had to look up 1 walkthrough though and I realized that I hadn't gotten tuned into the game yet to see what the devs wanted me to see, if that makes sense.) There are some minor bugs, and some lagging issues that I've experienced, but nothing too horrible but still enough for me to take off a half a point. Some NPCs got stuck and I would have to restart the chapter or the lagging will sometimes just freeze the screen for a moment. For me, this game is a 9.5/10 <3
Great continuation of a tough series to follow up on
