[h1] Anyone who doesn't like this game must be in a vegetative state [/h1] I was plum out of fresh shooter games so I decided to pick this one up on the market. I had tried to get earlier access to the full game but the studio was pretty dilligent about preventing leeks. After finally getting to play, all I can say is that anyone who doesn't like this game must be in a vegetative state. Everything is well-balanced and well put-together in one complete package, from the gameplay, to the storyline, to the art and music. I also found RiF to be refreshingly difficult. Handle the controls gingerly - this game is no cakewalk. The storyline, while a little corny, had depth and - I'll be honest - even got me a little arti-choked up in places. There are some small spicy cinematic sequences peppered throughout. Without revealing any spoilers, the ending was absolutely bananas. The gameplay is straightforward and intuitive. Upgrades are awesome and weapons are accurate so you won't be potato-aiming. And the levels are linear so it doesn't feel like navigating a maize. Game filesize is appreciably compact at ~ 145 megabites. (I'm playing on a Windows but I think it would also run just fine on an Apple). You would be nuts to not at least give this game a taste-test. Can't wait for the sequel so I can come back for a second helping!

Loving this game so far! Pretty tough but like all the variety of fruit enemies. Grapes are the most evil so far.

Resistance is Fruitile should be the perfect game for you to play in a small break during homework or your time at your office desk ^^ Starting pretty calm the levels introduce new enemies the further you come, progressively becoming more difficult. Killing fruits which want to get to you and your yummy chocolate wedding cake earns you xp, which you can spend in powerup cards at the end of the room, granting stat bonuses ranging from dmg up to more live plus an extra ability if you got 2 matching cards. The level design sometimes gives you a hard time if you don't think fast enough about your next dodge. 😉 Always be prepared for the unexpected! ^^ I wouldn't say you're going to play nothing else apart from this game but it's a lovely coop game if you got some time to spare, even though a game itself can last a long time due to its complexity.

Solid bullet hell shoot em' up. I wasn't expecting much going into the game, but It turned out to be a nice arcade shooter and was entertaining as hell to play. I just wish I had more time to put into the game. Solid 8/10

I've just played this game and I found it very cool and interesting. The arts are well made and the game itself is a good pastime. There are a lot of different enemies, levels and abilities, very nice game!

I bought this game because it just seemed to silly and ridiculous. Played co-op and it was a lot of fun. Definitely recommend it to others. Much more fun with a second player though!

Pretty fun game. The modifiers really help you feel stronger. Good enemies and level layouts. Good challenge. Like the music and art style. Solid buy.
