This game perfectly fits the category of: First day on the job simulator (for space explorers). You mess up, you have no idea what you are doing. You go further to survive; to explore the beautiful planet that you have crash-landed on. You starve yourself to near death, you eat some strange food. Your snarky robot "mom" tells you to go to sleep. You get better, you discover more you escape the planet! Turns out your snarky robot was right... you are incompetent and just crash-landed on another planet - but this time, you know more‽

Fun game, the developer is very communicative with the community about issues, if any as well. Crashed on a planet and gotta fix your ship, what lurks below... Your soon to find out! Give it a go, the game has plenty to offer, has some puzzles to keep you thinking.

After trying the game i must say it plays a lot different than it looks. Stuff is actually fun and engaging. I'm constantly worrying about running out of food because it seems to be quite limited and i'm the kind of player who likes to do stuff slowly. Great game. Very different from the survival games I am used to. This really focuses more on exploration and combat is almost non existent. But despite that its difficult. If you are more of an exploration kind of person this game is definitely for you.

Firstly, I hope this review help the people to buy this game. I am still on the way of exploring the game, but I have to show some of the game's aspects. First of all, the game has several bugs that still clinging onto it. For example, whenever I try to cook cooked mushroom, the game instantly closes. Thanks for the instant exit from the game! Another example is, there are sometimes impassable ways. That is probably because of uncalculated map creating. Thirdly, some of the items are literally frust. If the item I made has no ultility, from what reason should I inspire to make it? [lashing]. I may not find how to use it, but there are no directions except our bot, Pedey B. Overall, this game seems like there are several things unfinished intentionally. I hope they became finished things with the work of the developer. Apart from enourmous bugs, the musics, the pixel art, the companion, [the small interactions with our companion], the variety in creatures [so far], and the time decor are nice to have. I hope we would have a item that makes us to interact with the creatures since it is annoying to stand still while they damage you and you are like crossing your arms and waiting. Overall, I would recommend if you have plenty of time to spend.

Orange pixel create another pixel art masterpiece, you can always trust the quality of their games but this one takes it to another level. The graphics as always are gorgeous, but looking past them there is a great depth to the game play that will keep me playing for a long time to come. Craft and survive on randomly generated alien worlds all interspersed with humorous dialogue. I 100% recommend this game.

This was a nice change of pace for me as someone who usually plays FPS games. It took about 10 hours of off and on game play to repair the ship. Difficulty was reasonable. I neither got stuck nor could I mindlessly run through it. Some reviews are critical of the game's mechanics. Personally, I never had an issue with the controls. I would recommend if you're into exploration and looking for something different.

How can EVERYTHING that Orangepixel made is the worst gaming experience that can race with Ubermosh games... Y'now what, I'm just gonna copy paste this comment, for any game that I have from this developer...

Still some glitch but warrants the expense

Great game!

Crashed during the intro before I even got to the game, thankfully this was resolved using the community and a .Net patch. Got stuck on a ladder and had to restart, got stuck in a pit due to procedural nature of levels. It would seem the term early access is missing from the store page. Has potential but I'd wait until is has a few months and pray developers improve this. I remember the days where apogee released finished games. Edit: Revisted this game and now its not too bad, still feels very basic but least its no longer broken. Could do with adding tools to handle hostile aliens as you only seem to be given an emp that only deals damage to some. Your robotic companion could do with more varied dialogue as he repeats himself frequently. Also several busy tasks like holes in backpack and power failing on generators just get annoying after a while.
