Fear and isolation seep through the walls of an abandoned southern farmhouse. "7" marks a new beginning for survival horror with the “Isolated View” of the visceral new first-person perspective.

After RE6 I thought Resident Evil was dead and gone, thank god I was wrong. RE7 is by far still my favorite new era RE game so far. Its one of the few resident evils that actually tries to be scary using body horror and new technology to its advantage. There are some issues like enemy variety, most of the creatures you fight are just mold man or mold man but fat or mold man but on all fours, its not really great in that department but it was REs first game in the new era so I can forgive it there just like all but one boss fight is essentially either a shooting gallery or a spectacle. There's only one boss that I genuinely felt like was designed to seriously test the players skills and the gameplay mechanics they learned. Other than that and the entire ship level, RE7 is nearly perfect. It brings the series back to a time when survival horror was the main focus and not action horror. No more partners, no more super soldier like fighting. Just a dude with a 12 gauge and a pistol trying to make it out of a bad situation. The graphics still hold up in most cases as RE7 used a photo scan graphics style with their new REACH FOR THE MOON ENGINE or RE Engine. The soundtrack is usually not overpowering and helps to build spooky moments and the gameplay is just janky enough to invoke fear but not so bad its a chore to fight. Also the First Person perspective was a great choice and they really wanted to show it off. Side note if you have a hand fetish this is the game for you. Overall great game, fantastic time playing it I come back once every 5 or 6 months to replay. 8/10 So Close to a masterpiece but unfortunately enemy variety, lacking real boss fights and the ship all drag it down just enough to be a 9 or 8 out of 10.
Terrible embole.
♥♥♥♥♥♥ CIENIE MNIE PRZEŚLADUJĄ. JEBANY ORZEŁ NIE DZIAŁĄ
buenazo
