The game definitely has some pros. For starters, I like the recoil feel and gunplay, that's nice. But, the map is really low effort, the only two models in the entire game (Gun and enemy) are both assets, not even made by the developer. Along with that, there is only one level, it is incredibly short, so much so, that I couldn't even be qualified to write a review via steam standard if I had only played one run. Overall, it feels very low effort. While I am certain real time went into the gameplay, and for that, good job, but for absolutely every other quality in this game, there was clearly no actual effort put into it. Map design likely took no more than an hour, and the story was nonexistant. Finally, where the hell is the prisoner? The whole game was based around rescuing a prisoner, and there wasn't even a prisoner. Final score: 3.5/10
My friend mad this game! Im so proud of them! - Level cleared with C and A rank. - I am stoked on the movement feeling of this game, its fast enough pacing, and really good movement pair well with the leaning mechanics. - it has point shooting! this is awesome! - Im really excited for more! gonna try to get S ranking! - I really like the graphics, and in the enclose spaces of the level start, the gunplay feels really tight and reflexive. Overall, im excited for the next step. keep it up!
Honestly, I like it. For a solo-developer's first ever release, and it being free on top of that, I can respect it. It shows a lot of promise, although moreso for the developer self than the product per sé, there is room for improvement, but the foundation is damn solid. A short 5-minute semi-tactical run & gun game where you go through tunnels, an open area and each the end. And the final score helps with replayability too.
Proud of my bud for getting this functional and on steam after so many hurdles and setbacks ^~^
Quite a nice base you got here, feels like you actually enjoy making games, thats basically all you need if ya want to grow a career out of it, loved how chunky you feel while moving even if the character is a bit sluggish, the weapons also feel pretty damn good.
The Annoying Crow was too slow this time.
Good mechanics and an amazing soundtrack. Quite a nice base you got here, feels like you actually enjoy making games, thats basically all you need if ya want to grow a career out of it, I really like the graphics, and in the enclose spaces of the level start, the gunplay feels really tight and reflexive. this game is short and cute, i know dev but that doesnt cloud anything. Overall This game is pretty neat for a first time game! keep up the good work my friend!
I posted in the discussions a big block of text about my feelings. In short shooting and movement feels off and lack of feedback is weird. I hope our one man dev team continues to try and create new things and uses this as a great learning experience for game making.
