got this game because i was bored and everything in it is AI generated. Its just a temu version of dead island
Temu Dead Island with copy/paste assets.
Journey Through The Undead is not a perfect game, and when compared to AAA zombie shooters it can feel rough and unpolished in places. Gunplay isn’t always as satisfying as it could be, and there are some inconsistencies and rough edges that are hard to ignore. That said, it’s important to keep in mind that this is an indie game made by just two developers from Sri Lanka, who are clearly passionate and still learning the craft. Judged from that angle, it’s a decent and commendable effort. The tropical, Sri Lankan-inspired environments give the game a unique atmosphere, and there are a few surprising moments that help it stand out from typical zombie games. While it has clear flaws, it also has heart and identity. If you enjoy indie zombie shooters and are willing to meet the game on its own terms, there’s still something here worth checking out.
Finished the game. Needs a few fixes, but overall good.
Unfortunately, I played this game at the request of the developer, which makes me all the more sad to say it's not that good. Not from a fundamental standpoint; it's a generic first person horde shooter with a limited weaponry set (including a wooden branch from a tree, apparently), and would probably appease a crowd of younger gamers - but this, I'm afraid, is nothing more than a carbon copy of another game made by this same developer - with a few tweaks and slight story changes. There's not really any semblance of a narrative - nothing makes sense ever. When you unlock the next cutscene, it almost feels like you're traveling back in time, or perhaps moving in slow motion constantly - with an odd focus on the environment around you, and HEAVY usage of AI in its soundtrack and Steam marketing. You play as some unnamed guy who works an office job, when suddenly the city is bombed and infected. Suddenly, you're an expert on fighting zombies and utilizing different guns and melee weapons to fend off the hordes. If you've played a game on Steam called AFTERTIME, you'll notice right away that they are the exact same game. These two both play out very much the same; even on the easiest difficulty, you'll struggle often with the abundance of enemy spwans - zombies will overwhelm you in an unfair way until you learn to run past them somehow and trigger the next cutscene, or you feel like wasting your time and mag-dumping them. Combat is awkward and messy, and the melee weapons feel floaty and difficult - like they never hit anything hard enough, so you just end up spamming the button. This game has things in it that never get explained - like a ginormous colossal elephant that fends off a mutant Hulk zombie. This same cutscene was used in the game AFTERTIME, which as I mentioned, is another title made by this same guy. Again, not trying to ♥♥♥♥ all over it - but this is just another generic steam flop. I really want the devs to keep doing what makes them happy, and to proceed with their goals - but it's so hard to support a project that, clearly, even tumbleweeds wouldn't cross. I'm sorry, Dan. It's just not that fun.
Easily the best zombie game you will find at this price point. It's not AAA quality, but it's nowhere close to AAA money. If you go in expecting an $8 game you will have a ton of fun.
this gime need few more updates

Ein unkomplizierter, geradliniger Zombie-Slasher, mit dem man seinen Spaß haben kann. Für den Preis ein rundes Paket, das man sich meiner Meinung nach gut geben kann.
