Gameplay is fun, don't get me wrong. the puzzles are innovative, diverse, and generally foolproof. The story is garbage though. if you can appreciate a game with terrible story and relatively good gameplay, then get this game in a bundle. not worth paying for it on its own.
Imagine if someone wanted to make a Portal clone, but then wrote idiotic and hate-able characters that you constantly have to listen to. To the voice actors' credit, they did a decent job on their performances, but the writing and puzzle design is so bad that I won't be finishing the game. I got this some time back in a Humble Bundle, so I probably only paid $2 or $3 for it, but it still feels overpriced at that amount. I find it sad too, because the game had some serious potential with an intriguing sci-fi setting with a lot of unknown elements. However, I don't want to listen to "adult scientists" on the moon acting like they're 12 years old with constant bickering and back-biting. I also don't want to replay a puzzle 10 times because the physics didn't do what they should to bounce a box to me at exactly the right angle.
a puzzle game, which is very nice. But what killed it for me super fast was the excessive language. 15 sentences in and 12 F bombs later I just stopped playing. I have zero issue with cursing when the situation calls for it, but why would you combine a game style used for critical thinking and problem solving with this is very strange and for me a deal breaker ... god forbid someone gave access to a child to play this game.
it is a nice puzzler.. but sadly it gives me extreme motion sickness. I am not sure if is because i'm playing it on an ultrawide screen. i never had a game that does that so bad. i'm not even sensitive or anything. i thought there was something wrong with my eyes and even went to the dr. xD after a while i noticed only when i play it, it happens which showed me why i was only able to play this game for max 1 hour every season. oh, well i'm almost finished with the game and had it canned for the past maybe 2 years without even feeling comfortable touching it.... for me personally.......for the puzzles i recommend it. for the suffering i had HELL NO.
It was good while i could play it. i crashed out 3 times before i gave up. the puzzles were engaging, but frequent crashing kills the buzz
推箱子ProMax
相较于传送门,风格上可能更像塔罗斯的法则 谜题的设计非常的经典又不失趣味。
I really want to like this. It just feels so unpolished. Half the puzzles seem like they are completed using accidental physics instead of an actual mechanic. The very low achievement take rate for just passing basic milestones tells it all.
I should love this game. Its an, lets call it 'homage', to portal with gravity and magnets instead of portals. I love portal, I have wasted a stupid amount of time playing portal games. So why don't I like this? Well, to start with get ready to ♥♥♥♥ around in the settings a bunch. You have to tweak stuff to make the game physics work right(having your frames to high can break stuff among other things). You have to tweak things to fix the 'fishbowl' effect. To make surround work right, etc etc. But fine, I can tweak, no biggie. What really, truly, killed this for me is... its just boring. Every puzzle I got to was easily solved the same way. Walk to the end, look at the goal button or whatever it is, and work backwards. Then hope the physics work right and you get to go to the next puzzle. Or if your really unlucky, the large but entirely devoid of stuff or people hub area. Its like... imagine if in portal there was no glados, just one of those cubes as the only other entity in the game. But wait, there are characters in this game you may be thinking. Yes, technically there are, but they are all so incredibly dumb and irritating that you will wish the rare times they speak were cut from the game. These people are allegedly scientists but you will honestly start to wonder how they manage to dress themselves. I could go on, but bleh. TLDR if you want portal, this isnt it.
