Reignbreaker

Reignbreaker es un roguelike claramente inspirado por Hades, pero con su propia identidad (realmente la estética dungeon-punk está muy buena). Visualmente es impecable, la música acompaña bien, los (pocos) personajes tienen cierto carisma, y la historia genera un poco de interés.... Aún así, y aunque me duela, le tengo que dar una reseña negativa. Pese a que claramente hubo un buen trabajo por parte del estudio, lamentablemente, le pasó lo mismo que a tantos en los últimos tiempos: lo cagaron cerrando antes de que pudiera crecer. Esto se traduce en cosas como que haya una repetición enorme de enemigos, un campamento base casi vacío, jefes bastante genéricos (y repetidos) y, al menos hasta donde yo jugué, un único escenario cuyo recorrido va cambiando. Una lástima porque claramente el equipo tenía buenas ideas. Ojalá algún día lo puedan reflotar.

The game is fun for what it is. Can be challenging but overall is a repetitive roguelite. Personally think the $10 price tag is worth it. Give it a go and then move on to Hades 1 & 2.

Из минусов: 1. Один биом 2. Практически нулевая реиграбельность после прохождения сюжетки (просто у боссов появляются раздражающие свойства, типа неуязвимостей к определенным типам атак, что просто удлиняет их ковыряние) Из плюсов: 1. Неплохая боевка с забавными механиками, типа обливания врагов краской для доп. урона (видно, что авторы старались не слизать, а сделать что то свое) 2. Хорошая песенка на главном меню Неплохой рогалик, не hades конечно, но по скидке можно купить и пройти сюжетку.

Really cool game and everything but its badly optimized with no customization options at all :/ its really annoying because i get frame drops and cant do anything about it

While short, this is a fun game! The combat does bring in unique elements to differntiate it from similar games like Hades and the art is stunning. If you've looked at the trailer and think this game looks fun, I reccomend trying out the demo, though maybe wait for a sale to buy it. This game isn't perfect. My biggest issue with the game, other than it being a bit shorter than I'd like at 4 hours for a main story clear, is that it doesn't have control remapping. At time of writing you gotta use what the Developer preferred control scheme is for controller or keyboard. Personally I would love to be able to change the throw button to something that doesn't compete so heavily with WASD, but I still had fun with the game. This may also be an issue if you like to remap controls for any other reason, such as being left-handed or having some sort of motor impairment. Also, the game has a very strong auto-aim, meaning you can be aiming one direction but the game might lock-on to an explosive barrel way away from your enemy. This can be annoying with throwing centric builds. If you can get past those small gripes, you're in for a fun time! I do ultimately reccomend this game.
