About
Regret To Inform is a game about finding reasons to say no.
In the world of Regret To Inform, companies can no longer risk their reputation.
Rejections make candidates angry.
Angry candidates lower ratings.
That’s how Despair Inc. was born — a company specializing in finding reasons to reject candidates.

1. Review job description.
2. Compare it with the candidate's resume.
3. Identify inconsistencies.
4. Select the correct rejection reason.
5. Send the email with your regrets.

During each workday, you may encounter anomalies — distortions that interfere with your ability to process data.

Information cannot be trusted:
Text may become unreadable or misleading
Visual noise may obscure critical details
Audio disturbances may distract or disorient
All anomaly behaviors are documented, but not always easy to follow.
Multiple anomalies may occur in a single day.
However, each candidate is affected by only one at a time.
Directives are special rules that alter how you must respond.

Even correct decisions may not be enough:
They apply to the entire day
They affect only specific cases
They may force you to override a correct answer
A perfectly valid rejection may become incorrect under a directive.
Follow the rules. MAKE NO MISTAKES.

Лучший симулятор HeadHunter 10 причин для отказа из 10
I am highly impressed that the game was created by just one person. The concept and execution are very cohesive and it's both challenging and fun. I honestly recommend trying this game out and supporting the creator.
This must be how people at HR departments feel, LOL. Your job is to reject applicants but you must do it for the right reasons, or you get a "regret to inform you" letter yourself. Had fun with it.
It’s like a “Paper’s, Please” type of game, but way more simplistic. There is no plot. You just restart the shift until you get all the achievements or feel like you’ve had enough. The gameplay is very straightforward – you just choose a (correct) reason to decline job applications. There are some anomalies and a time limit that make it a bit harder, but overall it’s very manageable. You might consider buying this game if you want to play something in the background while zoning out. It has some atmosphere going on and it’s pretty fun for a few hours. You might want to pass on this if you dislike AI art in games, or if you want something more engaging. If I could, I would choose a neutral review for this game since I don’t really have a strong opinion on it. I think I’d suggest buying it on sale though.
