Regiments is a Real-Time Tactics game set in Germany 1989. The Cold War has gone hot, and the inferno is raging. Lead your Regiment through the fires of conflict and the fog of war. Break through the lines, call in artillery, maneuver, feign retreats, stage defenses, counter-attack. Do not relent.

Game rules. Totally worth the price. Dunno what else to say. Well made + Microprose so get it while you got it. good.
I'm currently working my way through the operations included in the base game and I'm having a blast! If you are looking for a solid modern tactful single-player rts this is it! Choosing a new unit every couple of minutes in skirmishes is extremely engaging and fun! The operations included with the base game are just as fun! I'm about halfway through the base games content on offer!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

As someone fairly new to military sims like Regiments and having spent under 10 hours playing, I am very impressed with the game play, graphics and sounds. Fun to zoom in on your fighting vehicles. Models look great ! Not sure how Regiments stacks up against the newly released WARNO 1.0 as I don't own it yet, but from what I have seen in the WARNO 1.0 reviews, I think Regiments can hold its own and is much cheaper to buy if you are looking for a Cold War gaming experience! To reiterate the much used phrase with respect to playing Regiments ... easy to learn, but hard to master. Two thumbs up from me!
Fun game looks good to works well on lower end PCs
cash grab. game hasnt been updated in a very long time
Flanking and suppression mechanics are really easy to read on the map and feel good to use. The game strictly limits how many units you can use at a time, but makes reinforcing/repairing/resupplying very easy. It adds up to this effect of making you feel very fast and powerful and dangerous, but also afraid at the same time because your opponent is also fast and dangerous, and you can never be sure that you're not driving into an ambush or getting outflanked. Nails the combination of feelings I look for from wargames. Missions are somewhat replayable, and I suspect I'll go through each one 2 or 3 times at least. Main complaint is the lack of multiplayer because I love the mechanical innovations this game makes and really want to play with them with another human.
Very good very fun. The best way to describe it is simplified Wargame for people with ADHD. The core gameplay is similar, but there is a lot less micromanaging and losing units doesn't hurt as much. If you like RTS wargames this is definitely something you should get, even full price. Definitely a lot of care, love and detail went into making this game and it shows. Sadly only singleplayer, but the skirmish mode and campaigns are very fun to play. Deckbuilding here is done in a different way than in Wargame. You choose a regiment and get some basic unit at the start, and then as the battle goes on, you get to choose more units to add to the roster. (in campaigns you unlock and upgrade them before battles). In skirmish battles your units don't die permanently, and if they are destroyed they become available after some time. You can also retreat them to make them gain veterancy levels. Skirmish is also very customisable, aside obvious stuff like duration of the match, income rate, choosing the map etc. you can also choose time of day and weather and customise weapon damage, accuracy, range... In campaigns you have a limited amount of reinforcements you can deploy, but you can replace them between battles. This also ties in nicely with the whole campaign economy, where you have to decide what to spend your limited points on. (replacements units, supplies, deployment points etc.). Another fun thing in campaigns are the random event cards you have to pick between battles. This includes stuff like additional recon, additional off map artillery, locked supplies or units for the duration of the battle etc.
I love this game, got it when it first came out, just sad they didn't continue with it or add more via DLC. It would've been nice to see a Swedish deck, an Italian one, Yugoslavs, Romanians, maybe even Turks or Bulgarians or Greeks aswell.
