Regiments is a Real-Time Tactics game set in Germany 1989. The Cold War has gone hot, and the inferno is raging. Lead your Regiment through the fires of conflict and the fog of war. Break through the lines, call in artillery, maneuver, feign retreats, stage defenses, counter-attack. Do not relent.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Not sure why people review this game positively, it is a weaker version of Wargame series. Totally boring and inferior compared to Wargame Red Dragon. Get that game instead while we all wait for Broken Arrow.
Decision making feels right and it's balanced such that NATO and PACT both need to be played doctrinally or you won't accomplish anything. AI just gets a bit simplistic.
Its fun for a bit but just get WARNO or any other war sim game. offers a good bit upon start but gets old after not too long. for the price tag its not worth it as it has no workshop or solid Editor system. DLC updates also aren't fun. 7/10 gameplay wise but not for the price or Variety >Good game to catch on a solid sale though
Very good game, I play it on and off and it's always a blast. It's set in a Cold War gone hot scenario (thank God it's not WWII, we have more than enough of that) and it's single player only. The fact that it does not need to cater to the screeching monkeys which comprise most online audiences for multiplayer games is a plus in my opinion. Instead of micro managing individual vehicles/soldiers, you command platoons of units. The game is more focused on actual maneuvering, tactics and utilization of terrain and fire support to achieve victory, also the AI seems to be fairly competent. All of this is good, we need more games like this where you need to use some actual strategy or tactics to win, rather than just memorizing builds/meta/decks and frantically clicking around like a lunatic on a sugar overdose.
I have a soft spot for RTS games. I used to play a lot of RTS games in my youth, almost exclusively the CnC series (including Red Alert) and StarCraft. When I played those games, I often thought how much better would it be if the settings were closer to the present. I also have a soft spot for late Cold War military hardware. Those 70s or 80s military vehicles looked so cool for me and I always enjoyed playing games that portrayed this era. I got my fix mainly from flight sims, though. So you could imagine how excited I was when I saw videos of people playing Eugen's games (the original Wargame series). I feel I just have to play them. RTS set during the cold war. What could go wrong? Well, it turned out that many things went wrong. Its because I simply sucked in these games. I could never progress beyond a couple of missions in the single player campaign (and everyone said that the single player campaign is ridiculously easy! What?). I felt overwhelmed by the amount of micro I had to do to play them. I felt the games were just too fast and too multiplayer oriented. In short, I couldn't enjoy the games and they simply sat there, collecting digital dust. When Regiments was released, I read that this game is geared towards solo play and that it's not as micro heavy and frantic as Eugen's games. So, despite my earlier doubts, I decided to give it a try. And I'm so glad I did. Regiments is, for me, a near perfect cold war RTS. It's not as frantic amd it's got difficulty settings that could help bad players like me to still enjoy the game because the AI doesn't simply bulldoze you everytime. The game is geared to solo play, which is perfect for someone like me who never play multiplayer matches. The campaign (operations in Regiments parlance) is interesting enough. If you bought the DLC, you'll get virtually unlimited, procedurally generated operations to last for quite some time. The bottom line is this: if you are a solo player (especially if your RTS skills are rusty), then this is a good introduction to semi-realistic RTS. If you feel that Eugen's games (or Broken Arrow) to be too frantic and Battlefront's games too complicated, then Regiments is the perfect compromise. Highly recommended.
