Tags: Adventure - WS - Walking Sim Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Abandonned Eternal Early Access. Walk around a house pick up a few things put them in a box and go to car for end. Most of game unfinished and in black&white. Scripting errors. First off things started badly with this game, I threw away my acceptance letter to college or had it clip through a wall im not sure what I did. I explored around the back of the house and made it to a pier by the ocean and found a cave. I went in the cave and it was a dead end but some little notes of guitar chimed probably to let me know I evolved the story. The phone rang once while I was in the basement but didnt know the phone was on the main floor so couldnt pick it up in time. I chose to have no romantic entanglements and for that reason it seemed the game did not spawn any NPCS for me to interact with. Of which there is normally at least one, maybe two if you count the ex on the phone. I am assuming that you are supposed to choose to meet your ex by the ocean, and can do stuff with her in the cave and be unfaithful before leaving for college or something. The game is supposed to color up story sensitive elements but as far as I could tell it would just color things semi-randomly. Mostly drawers, and cupboards that I opened. I was confused so I compared to a youtube lets play and the same items were not lighting up as that other guy's playthrough, and some rooms lighting up also did not happen in the same order. I am assuming they somehow either changed the scripting or broke it somewhere along the way of patching. The idea is kind of neat I guess but the execution just isnt there. This is just an empty map, very few scripts and barebones story and dialogue and a car to exit. Then it spawns a map of an office, you interact with objects that become colorized sometimes not and can go to a taxi and get the endgame script. I dont really have faith that the scripting is there or that there are that many branching paths, and a lot of tasks seem unfinished. Like some of the sports stuff, the fact that you can repair the basement waterpump and the whole situation with the absence of context if you chose a no romance run. I dont think the game is really worth holding on to the library. The experience is forgettable, there are bugs, the concept of colors is half baked and the choices dont seem implemented. Devs said they would be right back to fixing the game a year ago and that was the last we heard of them. It is time to put this out of life support.
