This game certainly confused me in certain aspects, however overall it seems like a promising foundation for a nice VN, loosely influenced by the Spirit Hunter games. The art and animated scenes really impressed me! In general, I highly enjoyed the gory paranormal horror in this story. The mysteries and brief point & click sections seem a bit rushed but still entertained me. Additionally the lore (eg. of the spirits) is quite interesting and gets presented in an immersive way with the cutscenes. Now the, to me, questionable elements are mostly technical related. Firstly, I DESPISE the engine that was used to program this game, I recognized it immediately due to a previous frustrating experience with it lol. Especially annoying were the bugs that came with it, such as manual saving not working, occasional crashes and issues with the art gallery. Besides, it would be nice if you could disable the partial AI voice over, as it reminded me of silly YT clips too much. Also the writing could use some modification in some departments, like with the exaggerated character behaviours. Otherwise, I hope that the game will get updated in the future, as it only includes the first chapter without indication of where/when to find the second one. I definitely see lots of potential here due to the obvious amount of effort that went into this, just needs some improvements.

To be fair, only played a few min of this. But that was all I could tolerate. To start the intro VO, I can only assume to be artificial is just awful. Would much rather READ in silence than bear such monotone cringe spoken dialogue. Then dev goes for a jumpy film real effect that simply doesn't work and only hurts my eyes. When game finally starts you find, while characters are not voiced, there are voiced sfx. Which again are done poorly, distracting rather than engaging the reader. Very early one of the character is slapped by another. This happens before you are introduced to any of them, so no idea who initiated the action. You are also warned that [i[investigation[/i] can lead to a bad end. Making a bad choice is one thing but this is just bad game design. Punishing the player for exploration. Game may be free, but my time is too valuable to bother even completing the first scene. What's worse is there is potential here, but product is far from ready for a public release.

Perfectly fine core concept, but: 1. The A.I. voice overs are bad. I suggest commissioning someone and then revising the script so it is less wordy. You do not speak the same way you write, while the voiced sections are written as if the voice is reading a script. 2. Try to make the cast of characters less like generic horror anime tropes. Their attitudes and personalities are not enjoyable to have to listen or interact with.
Playing ReDo! is like signing up for a fun little adventure, only to realize you’ve actually enrolled in a stress test. You’re just a student exorcist trying to do your job, but the ghosts? Yeah, they have other plans. And by "other plans," I mean they’d really prefer if you screamed, ran, and maybe—just maybe—died in the most dramatic way possible. The game gives you choices, which sounds great until you realize every decision feels like picking between bad and worse. Do you open the creepy door or walk down the even creepier hallway? Either way, something’s definitely waiting to ruin your day. And let’s talk about the atmosphere—because wow, this game nails the horror vibes. The soundtrack alone is enough to make you hesitate before taking another step. The ghosts don’t just show up; they appear in the most inconvenient, heart-stopping ways. And your friends? Let’s just say you probably shouldn’t get too emotionally attached. If you love horror games that make you second-guess all your life choices, ReDo! is a must-play. Just be ready for some sleepless nights and an occasional yell at your screen.
Interesting concept and nice art. Will be looking forward to it.
For a free game, this game is better than I expected.
