Redgar: The Space Viking

A "hotlike", with some quality of life improvements when compared to Hotline Miamis, but on the other hand some parts that arent as polished 7,5/10

I'm a simpIe guy: I go to space, I slay my enemies, I enjoy my time. Superb soundtrack, splendid gameplay, far-out old school graphics and tons of fun - whats not to like! For Valhalla and beyond!

Good performance on the Deck, but I would advise against using a controller -or anything like it- to play this game. It needs a mouse. A decent Hotline Miami-like. It lacks more weapons, or weapons that feel different than their counterparts. Level design is good, music is good, theme and story are good. The gadgets are a nice addition to similar games.

Solid game for Hotline Miami fans.

Hotline Miami vikings in space, banger soundtrack

Fun game to hop in to any time. Also equipped with a banger soundtrack. Big thumbs up!

Super fun, fast-paced, and challenging! If you like the gameplay of Hotline Miami, this will be right up your alley. I really enjoyed the switchable special skill mechanic, too.

It really makes you [i]feel[/i] like a ninja

Its very unique and distinct from other top down shooters. Tuff game overall, would recommend.

Hotline Miami..... in spaaaaaaaaaace..... with vikings? Sure, why not. Fun little game. Not as difficult as HM or HM2 especially, but that's fine. There is a hard mode though, as well, if it's too easy. I blasted through on normal in just over 2 hours, but they've added a 10k kills right after I finished.... guess I have to replay anyway.... I enjoyed the utter cluelessness of the protagonists. It certainly doesn't take itself too seriously. Some good music but not really on the level of many of HM's tracks either. It's tough to make a game like HM, because HM is just so good it will inevitably be compared. But I still recommend it if you get it on sale or in a bundle.
