Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Red Rampant is a narrative-driven action-adventure game set during the Scottish Wars of Independence and Robert the Bruce’s wrestle for the Scottish crown. The default outcome of our narrative is crushing annihilation for the fledgling Scottish rebellion, but through the enigmatic Rewind Potion, gifted by the shrouded figure of The Alchemist, players can literally reverse defeat and steal victory. With the ability to travel back in time through their memories of previous gameplay and begin again, players use knowledge gained from past mistakes and hindsight of future events to rewrite the history books.
Red Rampant respects history in telling this story but it also embraces the mythological wrappings of Robert the Bruce’s iconic underdog tale. Players will explore a grounded, war-torn Scotland but also discover moments of the fantastical… if they have the curiosity to look. Navigating this war-weary Scotland, players will face a guerrilla campaign against the medieval world’s greatest military force amid sharpening knives in every shifting shadow as Bruce’s ego makes enemies in every corner of the country.
Some choices made promising hope and others the blackest doom. How would you write Scotland’s history?

The human/npc/fighting animations I feel need work but it is early access. The world itself looks great though. Also a plethora of dialogue choices, which I think most people playing this type of game care more for. Excited to see how this one grows over early access. The narrative so far is good, and the varied choices in dialogue add replayability.
Very broken mechanics there is no explanation what is block and what is attack. This is like some collage kids programming game then a actual game. This game should be free if anything. The walking was terrible the positive review makes me question the authenticity of this. It like a terrible cash and grab.

Really enjoying the story, does well to build a good narrative. Can't wait to see the changes the devs are going to make over the coming months. Scenery is stunning. Being Scottish it really tickles my fancy. Fair price too. Love it so far!
Really enjoyable narrative game with a strong Scottish story! Red Rampant Chapter 1 offers a really engaging and interesting narrative experience. The story, especially for anyone who loves Scottish culture and folklore, is compelling and well-crafted. While the game could use a little more polish in a few areas, particularly some visual elements, the overall experience is still very enjoyable. I’d recommend this to players who love story-driven games and want something charming and kid-friendly. It’s perfect for kids (and adults!) who want a fun adventure full of exploration and narrative.
This game is really fun. The story is vast and adjusts to your choices which changes the outcome every single time. If you love calm and single player games this is a great choice to try.
Red Rampant has a lot of interesting design choices and incredibly rich voice acting that makes for a fresh storytelling experience that can rival AAA titles. I did run into a few technical hiccups during my playthrough, and a manual save feature or more robust checkpoint system would be a welcome addition to help keep the flow going. The game has high replay value and there's a lot to explore across the different pathways. Some of the reset cycles can lead to hearing familiar dialogue again, but that's a minor gripe in the bigger picture. There's a really solid foundation here and I'm excited to see where it goes with future chapters and more polish.
Really interesting first look at the game. The little hints throughout that point you to the possibilities of gameplay are really cool and keep you intrigued as to the boundaries of what can be done. The potion mechanic introduced is unique and could add some good depth. The writing and voice acting is already very high quality for such an early stage game, really thought that some of the speech prompts were funny and enjoyed the connection between characters. Also, the links between the characters immediate quests and what is building up to be the ultimate goal of the game are cleverly pointed at and definitely make the journey of the game a very exciting prospect. The map design is also really beautiful already. Of course the game is a little buggy, and certainly a long way to go, but overall a really nice glimpse into what could become a really good game. Looking forward to seeing where the game gets taken.
Haven't gotten far into the game but it has already hooked me. Very excited to play the storyline through to the end and complete any side missions!
This game is full of creative decisions and writing that I can only describe as wonderfully ephemeral. I was surprised at how the gameplay choices even in this short chapter feel fresh and have me looking forward to future releases. The combat and some animations are definitely rough at the moment but for me that is easily able to be looked passed in order to explore what promises to be a deep and engaging narrative steeped in Scottish history.
The recent update to Red Rampant can only be described as a massive visual overhaul which improves the gaming experience massively. The animations and player models look and feel so much better following this update, making for a much more enjoyable playthrough. As a Scot, I feel the game puts forward a true-to-life portrayal of the Scottish Highlands, that really acts to immerse you in the game's story and characters. It's lovely to hear so many authentic Scottish voices throughout the story too! If you're interested in Scottish history/culture, or if you generally enjoy story games, I would highly recommend Red Rampant as it is a compelling game in both areas.
