Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad with Rising Storm

A friend asked me long ago: How bad was WWII? I was struck by flashes of soldiers exploding in thousand pieces, of people laying in the mud drowing in their own blood. I heard the echoes of the past; the deafening blast of artillery tearing human flesh like cheese grater; the cacophony of machine gun fire turning men into an amalgam of skin and blood. I slowly looked at my friend straight in the eyes and said with a trembling voice: You cannot and will never comprehend nor fathom the sheer terror and horror that we endured and felt in the darkest and bleakest times in human history. He asked, seemingly confused: What do you mean by "We"? I said with a straight face: I was there, I fought with my brothers in arms in the ruins of the city of Stalingrad, street to street, house to house, till all of us laid dead in the snow, till the bitter end. Cutting the bs haha, I have never played a game that inmersed me so much in a time or place like Red Orchestra 2; you feel that you are there, that the soldiers surrounding you are alive and breathing, that the bullets are getting closer and closer to hit you right in the face. I have close to 500 hs playing this game and I'm still learning new stuff every time that I play. It never gets old or boring. Finally, if you want to experience WWII like never before, I encourage you to play the heck out of this gem and I really hope that you enjoy it as much as I have. Cheers!

amazing game. the community are not dead and even if you cant find a server with people, there are always bot servers to play around in.

as good as WW2 FPS's are gonna get in terms of art direction, we need more eastern front games

I found this game while playing on a half-ass laptop, because I knew it could not run any newer games. Got back to my main PC and still playing it.

гойда во времена когда не было интернета вашего. купил просто за копейки, получил геймплей на сотню деревянных, жаль не по пендосам стреляешь, а так в целом прикольно, всем советую, особенно когда не понимаешь откуда как и чем тебя у6или, будучи находясь за укрытием, у меня так в пабге не горело как тут, а так врагов вообще не видно, а если еще и в лесу каком-нибудь вообще аут, может это я слепой просто, чистый хардкор, арма третья, если бы она была в великую отечественную. ЗА НАШУ КРОВЬ, ЗА НАШУ ЗЕМЛЮ, ЗА РОДИНУ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! З.Ы. ПУБЛИКУЮ 9 МАЯ!!! Деды воевали, не оскверняйте память наших предков.

peak but theres usually only like 1 active server that hits full playercount and it crashes a lot (might be just my issue)
