The Red Forest is one of the most unique spots in the Chernobyl area, with various mutations still taking place here. It is visited by tourists wishing to see something extraordinary.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 17 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

DO NOT BUY THIS! This game needs about a year(or more) worth of work. Cool idea, poor execution. Blatent cash grab with the "The Rake" attached to it. Kind of funny how this was 15$ on release yesterday (11/15/2016) and now it's already down to 5$ after all the negative reviews(11/17/2016), pathetic. The developer should be ashamed of themselves for trying to pass this 5 minute romp in the woods off as some kind of game. I still can't get over the fact that they had the audacity to try to pass this off for 15$. This is the epitome of greed. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!
I truly hate to leave negative reviews but at the time of purchasing this (11/16/16) the game was about 15$ and I check back today to see any updates or anything and the game is only 5$ now. Onto gameplay, it feels very barebones..unfinished, lacking things to do. The map is huge and takes you a good long while to find the Rake before he runs off at light speed. Truly hoping they update or fix this in some way shape or form.

while the graphics in the game are solid, the main problem for me was that there is huge map but literally with just trees and fields. no buildings to explore, no caves or even a river. idea is great and this can be really cool game if devs keep updating it and work on it. make AI of creature better. make it stalk you, scare you not just A) kill you in 1 hit or B) run away light speed as you hit 1 bullet into it. make some more NPC-s, like you can hire them to travel with you. make something to explore like abandoned buildings where rake can attack you from every corner. so many posibilities. plz dont abandon this game devs i have hope in it. thumdown for NOW
ok game. love the concept but dont like how hard it is to find rake. Dev if you read this this game has so much potential for the future and i believe that if you keep working hard on updating this game it will become something extroadinary. The rake is scary when or if you find him and the graphics or really good too. But maybe add a way too make it easier to find the rake.also try too add some type of story element too the game or at least an intro of what too do. I am only making suggestions too help you out you dont need to listen to me as I wouuldnt even be able to create anything you already have in this game. I would recommend this game to anybody looking for a good scare and who can see the potential in this game. thank you , p.s dev i wouldnt raise the prize anymore if i were you as people were mad about that.
read reviews, bought it anyways, played for an hour....yeah it sucks just like everyone has said. Some positives: Movement is fast Like the controls a la Quake 3, if you could bind weapons and items it would be even better Environment doesnt look bad at all, liked the rustic woodsy theme Radiation scikness is a cool concept Some negatives: Periodic crashes for no reason game just closes and you start over You dont have nail clippers and your finger nails are disgustingly long the 2 NPCs are extremely cheesy The weapon animations suck, No projectile, No confirmation of a shot, No Muzzle Flash, and if you shoot Ivan outside the first house, nothing registers, the only way you know you are shooting is because your ammo count goes down Run around aimlessly looking for what I do not know because there is no introduction to concept or agenda, you just teleport to Chernobyl and then have to figure it out for yourself Wait til its free, and since its release, its dropping dramatically in price, it will be soon. As for me, I would rather pay 5 bucks, let Steam get theirs, and the developers all split that $2.50 so they dont end up on welfare.
Это даже гoвнoм назвать нельзя. Гoвнo хотя бы удобрение.
1. şahıs fps türünde korku gerilim adıyla yapılmış sadece yürüme simülasyonu
Red Forest (AKA TheRakeRedForest) is a fairly basic Unity asset flipped first person horror adventure, one of many hundreds, if not thousands of these glutting Steam. The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, arranged them haphazardly in a first person adventure game template, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. As you can see from the way the developer hastily changed the name when he realised he doesn't own the copyright to "The Rake" and tried to make it so he was less likely to be sued (I still hope that happens), this is a ripoff of "The Rake". What's that, you ask? Well it's a "creepypasta", basically one of those "SCP" style horror memes like Slender, except this one has some hairless white humanoid entity that wanders around the forest at night and jumpscares you. Okay. Well that's about what anyone would expect from these kinds of lazy asset flips. Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. There's not much to say on the technical front except that this is fairly badly implemented, with poor movement and bad, janky controls. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this only happened once, around the same time that trading cards were applied to the game... so this is just card idlers getting their cards and moving on. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards. So, should you buy this asset flip? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? Red Forest has the laughable price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. This is also competing with over 11,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
The interaction key is F, the inventory key is TAB, but guessing key bindings is not my thing. I shot a dude in the face and nothing happened, I have no idea what this game is about.
