Adult game with a lot of spicy images and no time restrictions or branching story paths. The plot revolves around a photographer who discovers a stunning young girl in a red dress on the seashore. She vanishes when he snaps a photo of her from a distance and thinks she is ideal for his new project. He is now determined to find her. The game is powered by a well-known visual novel engine, so there is not much to say about the technical aspects. It allows you to save at any moment, change the speed of text, and even skip all text to get straight to the spicy sections. First and foremost, this is a straight experience with no choices or extra endings. Despite the intriguing beginning, the characters and idea are not significantly different from other adult visual novels. You are a college boy living in a house with a hot mom and her daughter, and you will find other hot girls at school and around the city. You move around and progress the story by clicking on hotspots on locations or the main map., Hotspots are not indicated, so you will have to move the mouse about to discover them, although this should not be too difficult considering most include doors, exits, and people. Current tasks are on your phone. Despite the fact that the game goes through days as you sleep in your bedroom, there is no time limit. You can sleep for the entire week and not miss anything. You can also use the arrow to skip through the time of day (morning, noon, etc.). If a task requires you to perform something in the evening or the next day, you can easily do it. However, tasks rarely specify the actual time of day, so you must return to locations at various times to see if anything has changed or people showed up. The phone also includes a chat function that is only helpful during story segments, a shop where you can purchase erotic toys, and an info bar that displays stats for four skills such as lockpicking and hacking. These four skills are linked to small mini-games in which you must perform an easy task, but you can also skip them without any penalty. The other game is photoshoot where you have to complete tasks by picking the right model, place, and focus and exposure. The gallery allows you to view any unlocked image. Because there are over 250 images, you will need to scroll for a bit to see them all.

I do think it’s important to stress that Red Brim is still very early on in development. As of now the game is only partially through chapter one and has 3ish hours worth of content. Seeing as though the game wasn’t released as an early access title and the incomplete nature is not mentioned anywhere on the store page, it does feel purposely underhanded. That said, the art looks great and I like what is currently available to play. I am cautiously optimistic about Red Brims future. There is obviously a lengthy road ahead development wise, but hopefully a finished game will eventually come to fruition.

This adult point-and-click is AMAZING! I can't wait for the game to be completed!
