Rebound Dodgeball Evolved is an intense local multiplayer twin-stick sci-fi dodgeball game. An out of control mess of crazed rebounding action! There is nowhere to hide with the top down camera, so you better stay on the move! The game is 2-4 players in a free-for-all deathmatch arena.

Thoroughly enjoyed playing this game with friends, especially whilst using the Random Playlist mode. With this selected each map felt fresh and exciting, and it's evident a lot of thought and care has gone into making this game. Game was simple enough for complete novices to pick up and play yet deep enough to feel as though it wasn't just luck based - that there was actual skill involved. Highly recommend this game, especially with friends.
Got this from humble bundle. I came i saw i won. Nobody plays this online so was only able to beat on the bots. Wasn't much fun.
Dashing in the game is so delayed that it's unplayable.
This is a console (Xbone) ported 3D rendered 2D top down low poly/minimalist/neon multiplayer brawler loosely themed on the Dodgeball sport, and ripping off the art style from Superhot. The low poly graphics are a copout here, the usual excuse from the developers for not doing their job and providing contemporary graphics. The game is mulltiplayer only (although you can play vs bots), and of course there's no players due to the poor quality implementation. Controls are very janky. Dashing lags by seconds, making the game unplayable as it's needed for dodging. Basic testing might have picked that up. So there's a dead game, multiplayer only (developers must learn that other players are not an acceptable substitute for adding content to a game), terribly lazy low poly graphics, and a whopping $15 USD price tag. You can get Metro Exodus and other AAA games on sale at that price, so it's completely impossible to recommend this.
This is a solid game that is simple to learn but difficult to master. It's fun to play with friends, but there are also training courses and bot matches of varying difficulty to hone your skills on your own time. Because the player base is unfortunately small, I recommend purchasing this game on sale with a group of eager friends.
pros: - music isn't grating - graphics are... acceptable? (just barely) - idk how the gameplay is, i never played a match cons: - ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the training is bad. - the controls are terrible - you have to have a controller. dash was fine for me on controller... it only worked 1/3 of the time on mouse - ball moves too slow - 15$?? don't get this game. edit: i forgot to say i played this game as part of a "clearing my backlog" project. the goal is to play (at least) an hour of every game in my account. as you can see i could not bring myself to play this for an hour
The throw button works maybe 1/10 of the time, keyboard controls are clunky, no online scene left and no single player mode. Just dash/grab/throw tutorial and LAN play. I'd give this barely-functional port a 'not recommended' even if you could play the game as the controls are unusable and unresponsive, but as it stands there's just nothing to play but the tutorial.
ye its fun, nitro ball for all
Rebound Dodgeball Evolved is exactly what you expect it to be: A fun neon-dodgeball games, with a good selection of maps and great techno soundtracks. The controls are simple, the gameplay is simple, but it is really enjoyable and especially fun to play with friends. It is easy to pick up because of its simplicity, but it will also develop your reaction skills, at it is extremely fast paced. Throw the ball, dash to catch it and to avoid getting hit and repeat! Have fun! As this isn’t a game that you will play for hours and hours, I recommend buying it on sale.
Only played bots so far but a fun experience.
