About
Using a simulation environment developed through joint research between JAXA and historia Inc., this game recreates a scientifically grounded, realistic Moon.
- High-resolution DEM data (terrain elevation)
- Statistical crater distribution
- Natural rock dispersion patterns
- Sun, Earth, and Moon positions that change over time
The lunar terrain featured in this game is a result of joint research with JAXA.
Walk across the precisely recreated Moon, pilot a rover, and explore freely at your own pace.
Alone on the lunar surface, you receive a single mission.

In addition to observation data, slopes of craters and other features are synthesized based on scientific studies and added to the terrain data.
Surface of the MOON simulator. A bit basic but gets the job done - you can explore the MOON.
Some people think it is boring, but this is how it will be for real on the moon. And that is why I love this little simulation, You're just explore a dead dusty moonscape . There will be no action or battle. You're just an explorer. This is how it even will be on all the other planets in our solar system. The only action will be the geological action, If there is some. So welcome to how planet exploration in reality will be.

It's cool for a few minutes then you realize that the moon sucks and there's nothing to do there.
For a space junkie like me, this game is absolutely beautiful. I just wish there were more missions. Heck, it would be awesome if you could visit the Apollo 11 landing site! Right now it feels more like a demo, but it's free, so I can't really fault it.
Played for like 15 minutes and lost my patience with the photo matching in the tutorial. Insanely boring and I have no idea why the detection for photos is so bad. It's a shame, I was looking forward to this but I guess I've learned my lesson, unlike the devs...

Funny simulator to try, it would be neat if it were embedded in Space Engine and/or Orbiter. - Today I learned that lowering Earth's gravity to that of the Moon (20%) and getting rid of the atmosphere would make speeding in cars a real challenge. - As for the sim I'd put in an option to lower visibility of the milky way background on day side. Moon's surface is very bright in the full sun, helmets filter light and other radiation. The only visible things in the sky IRL would probably be Earth and the Sun, not faint nebula.
i really hope to see this one day become something great
