Nice little short horror game but the story ins't paced really well. There is a lot of running back and forth and there is a really annoying puzzle in a certain chapter involving a child giving you a map.

Pretty ironic that a game subtitled "One Way Trip" would have so much backtracking.
la historia me a encantado y lo visual esta genial

Re:Turn: One Way Trip invites participants to navigate a haunted locomotive where temporal anomalies dictate the physical layout of each carriage. This dual-timeline mechanic allows ghosts to manipulate the environment of the past, creating clever opportunities to unlock new pathways that fundamentally alter the state of the present train. Methodical puzzle-solving forms the bedrock of the investigation, providing satisfying instances of clarity whenever a specific item fits its intended niche. Environmental riddles requiring careful observation often yield genuine rewards, turning the search for a missing key or artefact into a logical exercise rather than mere inventory management. Backtracking across the various carriages becomes a necessary rhythm of the journey as you attempt to connect fragmented clues from different eras. Whilst this process can occasionally feel repetitive, the satisfaction of finally unravelling a complex riddle provides enough momentum to push through the more stagnant middle sections of play. Dark, moody visuals and a sombre soundscape establish an eerie tone that effectively keeps the player anchored within the spectral setting. Unfortunately, the reliance on predictable jump scares frequently undermines this carefully crafted dread, losing its intended impact long before you reach the more intense horrors of the finale. Inventory management requires wrestling with a cumbersome user interface that struggles to clearly communicate the purpose of cryptic items like mysterious masks. Navigating these menus adds unnecessary friction to the experience, often obscuring important narrative details within descriptions that fail to provide the context required for immediate, intuitive application. Manual save points introduce a frustrating layer of repetition that feels archaic given the lack of constant, immediate peril throughout the carriages. You are frequently forced to replay large portions of the exploration after a single error, which highlights the disconnect between the game's sparse dangers and its rigid save architecture. Overall, the temporal manipulation systems provide an inventive core that makes the methodical investigation of the train a worthwhile endeavour for patient observers. Solving the riddles creates a compelling rhythm that keeps you engaged with the world, successfully masking the narrative stumbles and the occasional frustrations of the interface.
Beautiful game, Thank you to the author, developers and all involved in bringing this game to us. I enjoyed it allot. The characters are lovely, and the pixilated graphics are gorgeous. The puzzles were very rewarding to solve, and the story itself was both neat and engaging. I recommend this game thumbs up. Do make sure you have the right mood before you play this game to truly enjoy.
