Conflict, famine, and extinction threaten dragonkind. Hunted and reclusive, Thak's Flight is no exception. Their fate seems sealed as only six dragons make up the last generation, including his own son.
It's in this context that the six young adults have had their growth and learning experience. Tasked almost daily with hunting for food, did they ever get the time to really grow up?
There is more to this world, and the fate of their kind may not depend on them alone.

This is just a short little indie game. The art is simple, the models crude, a lot of the music license-free. But holy crap has this game move me more than most games with 100x the budget and resources. Despite being only 5-10 hours long, you get to know and love every one of the six main characters. (Especially Foam. Foam is precious and must be protected at all costs.) The story is a moving experience about being yourself and accepting others for who they are, even if it means defying authority or culture. Every character learns, grows, and develop as individuals and as a group. It managed to bring me to tears no less than four times throughout. The gameplay itself is fairly basic: running around and interacting with things, dialogue choices and a few minigames. The minigames are mostly simple, though there is a rythm game that can be extremely challenging. Luckily, you can choose yourself how hard you want it to be. There is a lot of thought put into accessibility in general, which is always nice. As mentioned earlier, the art is fairly simplistic, but each character stands out and emotion is conveyed extremely well. Each character also gets a unique artwork at important parts in the story, all of which are impactful. The music is mostly free-to-use pieces from other sources, but therer are a few unique songs that are great and really get you invested in what's happening. In summary, this is a game that is well worth your time and money, considering it's a humble investment of both. The only complaint I have is that I wish there was more story with these characters. It's my hope that the developer finds success because I definitely want to see more in the future.
I'd yap a lot about this game that has loveable characters, especially those six of the main dragons you're building a relationship with, but because of its well-written story, well-crafted design, well-scripted minigames and everything else that's also well-made costing almost 15€, I think you should give it a try from start to finish, because you'll not regret it for doing so.
An unexpectedly amazing story, with a surprising amount of subtle differences that create your own version of the story, even if the core events are mostly linear. Very good approach to storytelling, and a very good mix of visual novel and interactive elements which, even though simple, make this a lot more of a game than most visual novels out there. T'was a great ride, and I recommend it to anyone, especially if you like dragons
Six Legends skillfully combines the visual novel experience with a retro 3D point-and-click environment, with minigames interspersed throughout, in order to tell a compelling story about conflict between societal norms/obligations and personal development. Recurring themes include repression, keeping secrets, shame, family, transition to new life phases, and finding one's people and place in the world. The player is placed in the position of a supporting character with, unusually for the visual novel genre (in my experience), a diminished physical presence. We are a little bug who drives the story along by influencing the main characters through suggestion, observation, and disclosure. Ultimately, this story is not about us, but we are fundamental to how it ends. This kind of game is carried by its characters, and I greatly enjoyed learning about who they are, what they enjoy, what/who they value, and how they approach new challenges. Our main group clearly love each other as a family, but there is a lot of anguish under the surface for a number of reasons. There are risks involved with being true to ourselves, and each of our protagonists must face their fears in the process of becoming who they are. The Six are well-written and memorable, with a depth that lingers after the story has ended. However, one character only really becomes present in the final third of the story, but it makes sense within context and still sufficiently develops the character. I found everything about Six Legends to be quite charming. The characters, the 90s-style graphics, the small-scale world, the minigames. The story builds and builds, and I was on the edge of my seat as I watched these often innocent and naive friends barreling toward inevitable conflict and heartache. Our job as the player is to guide them toward the best outcomes, and I'm glad I was able to do so. I am left wondering in many cases, "What if I chose this instead? What would have happened?" There is a lot of fuel for a second playthrough. So many scenes tugged at my heart, and I consider this a gem in my library of games. Play it and you will understand why.
this game is peak. love the story, love the characters, and love the messages behind each one. it's a bit goofy sometimes with its use of stock music but that's the only issue i really have with it and that's not really a big deal
This is one of the best Visual Novels I have played and I´ve played (at this point in time) around 200 of them, I often ran into the problem that the dialouge feels padded out or the characters get stale over time (sometimes even annoying) or the story is simply not intresting enough to keep up for hours on end but I had no such problem with Six Legends. Six Legends is a Visual Novel that includes Minigames, which is always great to have so you get to do something and feel even more involved in the world/the story of the game. It has a fun cooking and fighting game but the best Minigame for me is the Rythm game. You get a few of them, you always get to choose how difficult you want them to be (which is always a nice to have if you wanna challange yourself or wanna get fast back to the story thats currently being played out.) The story overall is very intresting and gets explored throughout the game, you learn the history between Mages and Dragons, you learn more about the Gnollmoles and even the Amphibiants. Not to mentione the story that you´re experiencing through the 6 main characters, who also each get explored (each having their own chapter or more.) You get attached to them, you help them through hard times and in the end you feel like you´re part of their Flight and want to see them all get through this and continue living their best lives. Overall I highly recommend this game to everyone, even if you dont enjoy Visual Novels or you have no intrest in Dragons. The game can be finished in 5-8 Hours, its a nice game to play through a day and it will go quickly thanks to how good the story, dialouge and minigames are, the chapters basically fly past you but nothing feels rushed, it has a good ending which leaves you satisfied. 10/10 game truely.
