If you like a challenge then this game is worth the money. The levels are evil and will kill you over and over again, but lives are unlimited and respawns are instant so there's no real downtime between deaths. Even when it's frustrating the game is never boring, it constantly keeps the pressure on and successful runs through destructible environments look and feel amazing. Value for money is good, you get 60 levels for a tenner and there's a decent amount of replay value. One word of advice though: UPGRADE YOUR SHOES. The game is a million times more fun if you get the collectible shoe upgrades in earlier levels so you're not always running out of charge.
Have you ever wanted to control the speed at which lobsters die? Well this is not the place for you :/ But what this game does offer is an incredicle speedrun exp and the more you play the more subtle mechanics you will find.

[/quote] RAZED is a single player racing, platforming, parkouring, speed running game. It’s a combination of a sort of super meat boy, mirror’s edge, and speed. In RAZED, you’ll run, drift, jump and stomp your way around various obstacles to beat each level. There’s sharp turns, narrow paths and tight tuning to each level. You start each course with full power but if you slow down too much or miss power-ups, your shoes will explode. You need to keep up the speed or you die. Gameplay in RAZED feels great to play, controls are fluid. I’d recommend using a controller for this game. Timing can be tight on some courses between the fact that your shoes explode if you’re too slow or miss power ups and some obstacles. Each jump or stomp or boost costs energy as well so you have to decide when to use what and make sure your energy levels stay high. I did enjoy how quick it is to restart after you die, or you can easily reset it with a push of a button. It keeps the momentum up so you can get right back to it. The game ramps you up, with each course layout different. adding new mechanics and increasing difficulty. You will die a lot, figuring out whats needed to get past each obstacle smoothly. Keep an eye out while you play for the not so obvious path, there are many shortcuts hidden that can get you to the finish line much faster. At the end of each zone, you’ll have a boss fight. Boss fights are a lot of fun and add to the small story involved. There’s generally an extra mechanic to each one where the boss is chasing you down. My only gripe with the game is some of the physics in the levels. Every so often, I’d get stuck on a ledge after a jump or a lip while turning. Also, there are bounce pads that don’t always seem to direct you where you need to go. It takes a few tries on some levels to figure out which way to turn to make it to your next platform. Otherwise, I had a lot of fun. Most levels require you to think fast and use your wits to get to the end. Replayability level on RAZED is high with speed running being a large focus for this game. Beating your best score, finding the best path. There’s also a leader board where you can see your friends time and race their ghost. Overall, RAZED is a race against time, an addictive fast paced free running game with plenty of replay value. The game is challenging, but not too hard, I had a lot of fun playing this one. So strap on your exploding shoes and give this game a try. Full Review: https://youtu.be/1hnAS2otEkI
I really enjoy this game and encourage you to pick it up and try it for yourself. Think sonic the hedgehog, but 3d and far more ways to die. Smooth and clean graphics and great soundtrack. Pros: Feel like a boss when you finally crush level Get lots of p*ssy when you finally crush level Replay value No level is too difficult, yet offers a new and unique challenge Engaging antagonist(s), (Right shoe counts, I have a bad feeling about that one) Multiple niche in game mechanics you discover while playing Speedrun potential (in game timer included) Cons: Bouncers sometimes don't interact with your avatar in the way you would expect For the less persistent, some corners WILL make u get stuck till u explode and you may get tilted 9/10 give it a try
I got given a copy of this game and have been absolutly loving the time I have put into it so far. A really fluid 3d runner-type game with Olli Olli vibes and Super Meatboy difficulty! Ultra-replayable with tons or upgrades to unlock and online leaderboards. Highly recommended!
Imprecise and sometimes unresponsive controls yet still requires pixel perfect precision. there are frequent clipping through the floor and getting stuck in place randomly type bugs, and using abilities like drift which is required in many scenarios is just a game of dice; works one in six times. The game looks cool and plays well at the beginning then it quickly gets ruined by bugs and bad gameplay design unfortunately
Simple but elegant 3D parkor / platformer with linear level design Deserve more attention
