Rayman Legends is overall an incredibly fun and well-designed 2D platformer game. In terms of the core platforming and level design, this game feels like it improves and expands upon Rayman Origins in all the best ways possible. Solid controls, beautiful graphics, creative level design, and an amazing soundtrack. However, this game does have its issues (which tbh, all of these issues feel more like the fault of Ubisoft's business practices than the fault of the game developers). The biggest problem is that you are forced to download Ubisoft Connect and agree to their EULA to play this game. Additionally, Ubisoft has terminated the online modes for this game, which makes the 100% requirement of collecting 1 million Lums extremely excruciating. Finally, this game has a few features that feel straight out of a mobile game, such as daily login rewards, lucky tickets, and a "Level of Awesomeness" ranking system. Overall, this game is still a very fun 2D platforming experience if you can look past its flaws.
