Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.43/day in the week to Jul 25 → 5.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Это прорыв в гейм дизайне колони-симов, и в принципе стратегий. Южный парк в мире игр. Хоть мне и не хватило усидчивости перенести свою колонию с средневековья до полной электрификации Ну и как по мне, это лишнее в этой игре.

This is a partial recommendation. I like the game, but it is a weird game, and I would only recommend if you are crazy about colony builders and fine playing something a bit janky and unique. This game feels like a mix between ONI and Rimworld. The building is vertical, and thinking about where to put all the necessities of your rats feels like ONI. The focus on production lines and enemy attacks feels a bit more like Rimworld. The real unique thing about this game is the monetary system. Every action of your rats (building, working) costs you money, and they pay you money back when they eat or if you set up taxes. This means that your colony has a total monetary worth divided between the money you have at hand and the money with your Ratizens. If you take all their money, they can't eat. If they take all your money, you can't do anything. This system is fun and unique in the early game, but it stops being meaningful in the late game, when your colony has enough money to just give them the necessary UBI and tax anything above that. Another unique thing about this game is that you control a character in the world, and can only interact and command things in your character's reach. Some people may feel this limits their control of the colony, but I found it to be a nice twist. The animations are cute, the different technologies and production lines are interesting, and the three kinds of enemies (who change on early / mid / late game) are different enough to be fun. The music gets repetitive fast. One big problem in this game is that the in-game information about the different items and systems is limited, and there is no good wiki in English. So you will be playing mostly wikiless, which may be what some people are looking for, but is not the expected state for this kind of game. Want to know exactly how many boots you need to produce to fully satisfy a colony with 80 rats? Good luck, you're on your own! How do rats decide which kind of food they will eat? Let us know what you discover! It is hard to carefully plan without a lot of information about the game, so you will have to play "by instinct". However, the game is not that hard to clear, just hard to optimize (due to the lack of info).

Great game, I usually suck at management games and I still do but this felt easier to handle and learn. I still got a long ways to go before I can get my first upper-class rat.
A bit rough around the edges, but a surprisingly in-depth and fun satisfying management where you juggle many pressures and needs to build a city of adorable Ratizens and help them prosper. This includes managing your city's 2D space for growth, organizing production chains to satisfy citizens needs, researching up a surprisingly vast tech tree, and even conducting combat and enemy wave defense. Building a prosperous city is easier said than done, as many challenges and needs are thrown at you, and boy, it is not easy to keep everything afloat, especially in the early game. Keeping citizens happy and fed can be a struggle, and it's easy to lose your balance and realize too late that you've neglected your city's supplies, citizen needs, or defense. The economy is very complex, wherein each citizen actually has a given wage, savings and tax contributions and all of these things need to be kept on the straight and narrow to function well. From a colony sim perspective It's most reminiscent of Oxygen Not Included, though its mechanics are a bit simpler and you are not playing an "omniscient" role. You control an avatar who has to actively move through the city to get anything done. This has positives and drawbacks in that you're limited to what you can see around you, but also are able to intervene directly to build things, move resources, or fight, which is particularly nice when your Ratizens are slacking off or too far away to do something you want done right now. The combat and invasion mechanics are really pretty simple, but function well enough to provide that constant threat to spur you forward in your growth. It does have a few drawbacks: -Definitely some dings on quality of life, general menu and management navigation. Assigning Ratizens to anything is a pain and keeping track of resources can be headache-inducing, though I do appreciate that you can unlock some QOL improvements through the tech tree. -There are some basic management controls that are missing which can be very frustrating. There is no way to specifically prioritize tasks outside of enacting bulky laws. and some things which should be basic are actively broken, like SCHEDULES, which please note will break your city and cause all your Ratizens to revolt . -It can be pretty confusing your first few times playing. Without the help of a guide or a wiki it can definitely be difficult to understand what you need to do. The game might tell you to try and build something specific to further your objectives, but finding the right resources and/or processes for how to do it is totally up to you, and more than once I found myself scouring the tech tree to figure out what and how to produce. Ultimately a lot of these things are okay because part of the fun of a management experience is being overwhelmed and trying to sort through your priorities piece by piece. In general Ratopia is an addictive and fun game that blends city-building, colony management, and medieval society simulation. With its vast tech tree and various mechanics it promises many hours of play, and probably makes it worth it even at full price. Solid recommend.
