You are a nomadic slugcat, both predator and prey in a broken ecosystem. Grab your spear and brave the industrial wastes, hunting enough food to survive, but be wary— other, bigger creatures have the same plan... and slugcats look delicious.

About
You are a slugcat. The world around you is full of danger, and you must face it – alone. Separated from your family in a devastating flood, you will need to find food and shelter between terrifying torrential downpours which threaten to drown all life. Climb through the ruins of an ancient civilization, evade the jaws of vicious predators, and discover new lands teeming with strange creatures and buried mysteries. Find your family before something makes a meal of you!
Inspired by the simplicity and aesthetics of 16-bit classics, this survival platformer requires clever decision-making, both to catch your own prey and to avoid the jaws of hungry predators. Each ravenous foe in your path will be cunning, vicious and always on the hunt – eager to sink their teeth into you, or even each other. As a small, soft slugcat you must rely on stealth and wit rather than force: learn the ecosystem and turn their strengths to your advantage. Maybe then you can survive… Rain World!

I love this game, and overall it a good game, it has amazing graphics, a good story, and isn't to easy for those who want a challenge. somethings to note though is if you suck at platforming, you will have a lot of fun

Every market we collect.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I have really been enjoying this game! I was expecting something similar to Hollow Knight, since it seems to be recommended often by that game's player base, but it's wonderful in a different way, and I was certainly not disappointed. I'm sure this remark is heard a lot regarding this game, but everything was so very alive. It is weirdly fun to be a tiny part of a very large universe. Reaching Looks to the Moon & then Nine Pebbles were two very satisfying and exciting moments for me. The game is pretty difficult and unforgiving, but that only makes it more gratifying to reach a shelter after a tough stretch of land. Very fun game. Only thing is, I wish there was fast travel, other than the passages; however, despite me wishing for that, I kind of think it would ruin the point of the game -- you're a little creature, and little creatures don't have access to fast travel, and I appreciate that enough to see why there wouldn't be. I'm just lazy! Love this game. I'm hooked.
神游。有一点难度,但上手后很舒服。超级推荐新手跟着大佬跑遍全图!
gooooood
Here's exactly what will happen when you buy this game You will play for a few hours then die die and die 10 or 20 more times then you will rage quit since you haven't made any progress for the past hour and then you're gonna either refund it or never touch it again. But now here's what will happen if you push through the rage and actually understand how to progress You will slowly and I do mean very slowly feel that hate turn into liking then enjoyment then love for this game and you will experience a beautiful truly alive world filled with a living breathing ecosystem of multiple organism fighting and eating and helping each other to survive, you are not the main character you are just another creature in this vast wonderful world and you will experience an engaging story about life and immortality and by the end you will like it so much and regret not playing it sooner. Rain world is now one of my favorite games ever. I loved the whole journey and looking back at it now I wouldn't have like it any other way, the controls are very responsive and there are many movement techs. At the start the game teaches you how to eat. Move. Jump and sleep. Nothing else it doesn't tell you how to progress or how to kill predators or what are your predators and what are your preys it doesn't tell you anything and apparently everyone hates that. And I was one of them. But now that I finished the game I can say that was the perfect way to do it. The sense of wonder and curiosity and the urge to explore and experiment and learn wouldn't be even an inch as enjoyable as it is right now. That surge of dopamine that comes when you discover that you can give a pearl to this guy for him to give you a weapon that can kill any predator is so addictive. The areas and animal variety are insanely huge. Every area has a completely different vibe than the one before it and many new animals that can help or obstruct your way through the area, for example (and this isn't a spoiler consider it a tip) there is an area called shoreline, the whole area is basically an ocean it's completely filled with water, now you can swim through the giant ocean normally and risk being eaten by the giant sea monsters or you can pass through the tight partially flooded tunnels under the ocean filled with worms that can suck your blood until you die or you can hold onto one of those frog mermaid things and controls them to take you all the way across the ocean since they swim at 10 times your speed, the game never gets old and always présent many ideas to solve one problems and that's brilliant and fun but even though this game became very close to my heart it is not perfect. The in-game map sucks since it's on 3 different layers and I constantly had to look up a map online to just find where am I and there is a creature called rain deer that you find in the later areas of the game that you cannot progress without riding on them and since they're pretty tall you need to wait for them to sit which they do randomly and if that wasn't enough it's so hard to hold onto there antlers for some reason, it's probably a bug but the game is 6 years old so that should be fixed. But every other problem I had with the game could easily be fixed by using the remix menu which is a menu that was added after release to fix player complains it can do minors things like showing you breath timer when underwater and major things like disabling karma requirements for gates (and I won't explain what's that since It would take way too long) so thore are my only two real complains Rain world right now is my 4th favorite game ever. Aside from the complains everything was done perfectly the game is beautiful fun addictive and the ost also is extremely good and the story is told in an excellent way through the world and the very few characters you meet and I think the best way to describe rain world is a unique game about surviving in a world where (mostly) everything can and will try to kill you and I think it deserves a solid 9 out of 10
