For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

Railway Islands 2 - Puzzle is a relaxing logic game developed and published by Rising Moon Games that builds upon the foundation of its predecessor by delivering a larger collection of handcrafted railway challenges wrapped in a calm, minimalist presentation. Rather than focusing on fast-paced action or complicated simulation mechanics, the game invites players to slow down and carefully connect rail lines across picturesque islands, ensuring trains can safely transport passengers and cargo to their destinations. Its simple concept quickly proves engaging because every stage presents a new layout that requires observation, planning, and creative problem-solving instead of reflexes. The campaign consists of 40 handcrafted levels spread across four visually distinct island environments, each introducing fresh layouts and increasingly demanding puzzles. Early stages serve as an accessible introduction to the mechanics, allowing players to understand how railway pieces connect and how trains travel across the map. As the adventure progresses, additional obstacles and more intricate track arrangements require greater precision and forward thinking. Players must carefully analyze each island before placing tracks, since every connection influences the movement of trains and ultimately determines whether the puzzle succeeds or fails. The gradual learning curve keeps the experience approachable while steadily encouraging more strategic thinking. One of the game's strongest qualities is its clean and uncluttered design philosophy. Every visual element exists to support the puzzle-solving process without distracting from it. Bright, colorful islands contrast nicely with the neatly designed railway pieces, making it easy to understand the layout of each challenge at a glance. Smooth animations and pleasant sound effects further reinforce the game's relaxing atmosphere, transforming even difficult puzzles into enjoyable exercises rather than frustrating obstacles. The calming presentation makes Railway Islands 2 especially appealing for players looking for a stress-free experience that still offers meaningful mental challenges. Beyond its main campaign, the inclusion of a level editor and Steam Workshop support significantly extends the game's lifespan. Creative players can design their own railway puzzles, while everyone else benefits from a growing library of community-made content that introduces new ideas and layouts beyond the official levels. Steam Achievements provide extra goals for completionists, and Steam Cloud functionality allows progress to be synchronized across devices, adding welcome convenience for players who switch between systems. These additions help ensure that the experience remains enjoyable even after the original campaign has been completed. Although Railway Islands 2 succeeds at what it sets out to accomplish, it remains focused almost exclusively on puzzle solving. Players searching for a narrative-driven adventure, deep railway management systems, or extensive customization options may find its scope somewhat limited. The minimalist approach intentionally keeps distractions to a minimum, which means variety comes primarily from increasingly complex puzzle designs rather than new gameplay systems. Fortunately, the carefully crafted level progression prevents the experience from becoming repetitive, and the satisfying feeling of solving each island continues to provide motivation throughout the campaign. Overall, Railway Islands 2 - Puzzle is an excellent sequel that refines a simple formula with thoughtful level design, polished presentation, and worthwhile community features. Rising Moon Games demonstrates that an engaging puzzle game does not require elaborate mechanics to remain entertaining, instead relying on smart design, relaxing aesthetics, and consistently rewarding challenges. Players who appreciate logic puzzles, cozy games, and methodical gameplay will find plenty to enjoy as they construct efficient railway networks across its charming islands. Rating: 8/10

Very well designed and challenging puzzles... Very beautiful art, well-balanced and immersive music. I recommend
Absolutely addictive and relaxing at the same time. 10/10
GOOD GAME TO HAVE FUN AND THINK
I think I liked RI 1 slightly better, but it was very complete and left little room for a sequel. So slightly mixing up the puzzle mechanics led to an interesting RI 2. Differences: Trains: - There are levels with 2 or 3 trains. - Stations need to be passed by a specific train. Switches: - Trains can run through switches in the reverse direction regardless of the switch position - There are no more switches with "counters" - There are new remote controlled switches where the trigger is located on another track piece. - You can always set the initial switch position This had some interesting consequences. In RI 1 the levels felt more static. The "puzzle" was only "arranging the tracks". You had only one train to keep track of and could plan out everything. In RI 2 with it's multiple trains, the puzzle almost had 2 "phases". First, you need to find a track arrangement, but then you also need to deal with the switch configuration and make sure that trains don't collide and figure out a good setup for the remote switches. I'd still recommend it if you liked RI 1. The one gripe is that there are now 10 levels less and a few of the latter levels (I think 31-33) are from the first game. So overall RI 2 has less content than RI 1.
Jogo de puzzle muito bem produzido. Se você gosta do gênero, esse é o tipo de jogo indispensável na sua biblioteca! Recomendo demais.
Railway Islands 2 is a relaxing yet challenging puzzle game where you take on the role of adjusting railways to guide trains through 40 unique levels. Your goal is to collect passengers or items and safely reach the destination. The game introduces engaging mechanics such as switch tracks, crossings, bridges, and connector rails that dynamically change paths. With beautiful visuals, a soothing soundtrack, and community map creation, it offers a satisfying experience for puzzle enthusiasts. While the difficulty curve between the first two levels could use some fine-tuning, Railway Islands 2 delivers a fun and rewarding adventure for fans of logic-based games.
Fun enough, kind of a standard puzzle game. They start out pretty easy, but get kind of tricky before the end of the first page of 15. Game play is basic, a map with a starting place or two, ending place or two, and a mix of things or people you need to pick up. Blue trains for passengers, red for freight I think. The map has a bunch of hexes with track on them, and you need to arrange them, set the switches and start them off hoping they get everything to the right place. If you get something wrong, all the pieces stay in place, which is nice when all you need to do is change a switch or something. Nothing exciting or special, but so far it all seems to work just fine. One thumb up.
