Game is very unstable. every update fixes one issue, then creates another. My game has started crashing since 1.0. Restarting the game over and over again to lose progress from random Errors that close the game,
Game still plays like an early access, ganky, buggy, and in much need of QOL work. Best way to describe it, is it feels like they slapped together a bunch of rushed game mechanics so that they could call it completed, then dump the game and leave. Defiently not worth the $38.99 CAD they're asking for it, in its current state would I wouldnt recommend spending anymore then $10 CAD.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I would not recommend the game for the following reasons: - Simplistic steam locomotive "simulation". - Time consuming loading/unloading of wagons (point and click). - More promising games on the horizon, if you can wait for them. I continued playing to the 140 hour mark in the hope that the devs would continue to improve the game in the direction I was led to believe - the game does not seem to be going in that direction. The last 3 times I have opened the game, I have played for 10 mins and uninstalled again in frustration.
its a good game but the community is horrible you got pepole who complain to much staff who do nothing but sit on their butts then they belive everything they hear i got removed from it due to rumors that were falseified ig its a good time to get a lawyer than any other
Like most other people if this was left early access i would not be leaving a negative review. Just feels like a game that needs more polish and defiantly needs a overhaul in some basic systems of the game.
It's been awhile since the full release but it's still very much an early access game, they have fixed a few things along the way but for me this game has become totally unplayable. When pulling long trains the cars will detach themselves and the pusher locomotive in the rear is still moving and will eventually run into you scattering the cars everywhere, quite honestly I am tired of re-railing all the cars and can time consuming to do so. I thought it was an issue with the map so I switched to another and it looked promising at first but I went the wrong way at first and drove past a switch, once cleared I switched it to the other direction and put it into reverse but then as I got over it started derailing everything. I tried removing the switch and the rails that attached to it, rebuilt everything with no change, this was the Mesa map with the pre-laid option. I have almost 300 hrs into this game and right now I cannot recommend it at least not in it's current state.
What can I say that others haven't? Poor memory allocation causes it to crash at random, friends get booted out of multiplayer sessions, switches randomly derail trains, loading is tedious as all get out, and woe betide if you run pre-laid tracks. You will be limited to 20 mph and like it. Track laying on your own feels nigh impossible- it's mainly guesswork to figure out what kind of roadbed to use to go up or down terrain. Or it requires a PHD from YouTube University- I'd much rather plop down track and be done with it, thank you. I received this game from a friend before it was fully released. I've found that it played ever so slightly better in open access than in release. The models of locomotives look fine, but there is no point to a locomotive equipped with air brakes if the rolling stock is also not equipped. I get that the game is meant for multiplayer use, but the lack of air brakes on rolling stock feels like a way to force the game to be multi player only. Kinda makes the single player mode pointless, yeah? Using sanding gear is pointless as well- just take the logs from the logging camp to the freight depot to grind out a more powerful locomotive. Don't get me wrong, it can be fun at times, but I don't think a full on price of $34.99 with two DLC packs is really worth it.
I can't recommend it at this time. Forced controller support with no option to disable. I must unhook all peripherals except the mouse and keyboard to get past the menu. With a joystick, throttle, rudder, steering wheel, and gear shift this gets tedious. There are some other small issues but this has been a problem since somewhere around update 0.8.
